WOW!!! What can I say about this shop and the owner Morgan. She is super helpful and the sweetest person!! She fit us in last minute and even though she said she probably wouldn't be able to help us she made a way and helped us SO much! From the time we walked in until the time we left, we felt welcomed, attended to, and inspired by Morgan. If you are looking or will be in the future GO SEE MORGAN!!!!! The hour drive was with it because of her. Thank you so much!!!
Went to Paisley's as my daughter is getting married. Lots of great options and colors. They sell more than wedding dresses. Check them out!
Had all the guys rent suits from here for my wedding. Many of them were too tight and the staff proceeded to tell us thats how they should fit. One of the groomsmen called and talked to the staff and they ordered a size up for him and he got it friday. Wedding was Saturday. When he received the suit that was to be a size up, we realized she sent him a size down and then proceeded to blame us so he never did get the right size suit for the wedding. Very disappointed by how poor the service was. Do not recommend going here. Customer service is awful, and prices are high compared to other places.
Store was open so me and my maid of honor decided to stop while we were out and about. I been looking for a dress and nothing has caught my interest. So we were just looking around. It was just me her and 3 employees in the store. Much to my surprise on the clearance rack was the perfect dress! And I had the money on me to buy it. Right as was seen it the one lady said is there something we can help you with. I told her I was just looking but I think I want to try this on. She looked at us and said I'm sorry we are appointment only to try on. I looked around the store and the other two laidies where standing off to the side just watching. I said ok. And walked away from the dress. As we walked through the store the ladies continued to talk amongst themselves. And we quickly confirmed we are the only shoppers in the whole store. At this point I am pretty irritated. I definitely understand needing an appointment to try on multiple dresses or I you have several shoppers your trying to assist. However I was the only customer in the store and their was 3 employees just standing around. As we go to leave the one employees asked would you like to make an appointment to try on the dress on a different day. My wonderful maid of honor jumped in and said no she will not. And then explained to the lady that I was only I was only interested in the one dress which is on sale so if it fit she planned to buy it now. However we all know that dress will not be here on a later date.amd we left. The more I thought about this the mader I get. Why even be open at all if you have 4 employees just standing around talking and refusing to let paying customers try on a single dress! This was a simple dress. It was not a big gown I wouldn't even need help putting it on. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IM THE STORE! NEVER will I go back. And the attitude I received the entire time we were their was completely unesscary.
AMAZING!! My daughter chose The Paisley Bride to look for a Lillian West gown. Morgan was wonderful!! She allowed my daughter to browse dresses & to try her picks on first. Her experience was personable and she was the focus of the appointment. My daughter found "THE DRESS" and we couldn't be more pleased!! The Paisley Bride goes above and beyond. It's definitely worth the trip!!
Having just picked up my bridal gown from The Paisley Bride in Lewistown, I feel I can write a very honest review. I searched EVERYWHERE for a gown. All the larger cities in PA and several smaller ones as well. I must have tried on 50 dresses. I knew what I wanted in my head, but just couldn’t seem to find a store with the exact style I had in mind. The Paisley Bride was the last stop on our list because it was quite the drive for us. After a super frustrating day of gown shopping, we ended up searching through the racks at the PB. Even though she was swamped, Morgan, the owner, took me through the racks herself and was so encouraging the entire time. Within minutes, she saw my vision and pulled several amazing dresses to choose from. The PB carries a lot of boho designers like Lillian West who I had my eye on. They were the only store I went to that had this style. I originally passed up my dress on the racks but Morgan pulled it anyways asking me to trust her. Clearly she was 120% correct because that was my dress! COVID delayed the shipment from the designers warehouse by about a month and a half. Morgan was very open in communication and kept me informed every step of the way. I would recommend this shop time and time again. I can’t say enough about Morgan and what an awesome job she does here! Go check her out!!
Not sure if I would recommend the Paisley Bride. While I did find a beautiful wedding dress I felt as though they were a bit overpriced, but maybe that's the normal range of prices at all bridal shops. When me and my bridesmaids were looking for dresses, Morgan didn't really come across as friendly though she was helpful. It took a little over 3 months for my bridesmaids to receive their dresses which I thought was unacceptable because Morgan originally said that they should've arrived within two months. When we contacted them in April they kept saying the dresses should be there soon. My wedding was in the middle of June and dresses were ordered in early February. Dresses did not come until the last week of May.
Couldn't be more disappointed...visiting from Missouri and was looking so forward to being a part of my Grandaughter s wedding dress hunt. Stopped by to look at this venue's selection. There was no signage on the business door, window or website stating that appointment was required for dress shopping. We looked around and found one dress that my Grandaughter loved and were told that an appointment was needed. She was not allowed try it on because their was a shoe shipment arrival and their inventory took priority. If they allowed her to try on one dress it could lead to 3 or 4. They did not offer a later appointment...This kind of customer service has resulted in a lost sale! So sad for a small business in a small town in this economy! Would not recommend with this kind of customer service!!!
The owner, Morgan, helped us out the day we were there. She was awesome and helped us pick out a wedding dress and accessories for our soon to be daughter in law.
Loved my experience here! Morgan, the owner, was fantastic. Very helpful, patient, and made my dress shopping so much fun!
