Interesting routes and nice staff. The staff will walk around and check safety regularly, which is GREAT! Price for membership is reasonable. It will be better they change the routes more frequently.
This is the first time we have been there. We tried it yesterday and immediately we took monthly membership. Once if you take membership there is no time limit, how much ever time you want you can do. No need to wait, There are a lot of walls to climb. The staff is very friendly and explains very clearly what we have to do. Mostly all age groups can try this. It's fun. Kids really enjoy this place.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Safety is pretty big here. The place is pretty small, though, compared to movement. Lots of top rope and lead but not much for bouldering
My first time bouldering was here. Everyone is very nice and supportive! Also tried auto belaying, which I've heard isn't available at many other gyms. It was less busy after lunchtime but I've only been twice
The staff is friendly, day pass + gear rental is $32 which isn't bad. There are a lot of kids though. Bring some water and make sure to stretch before you climb!!!!!
Absolutely great place!! Paid $17 for a girl to climb for an unlimited time during a day back in the day. Update. Now they have separate chalk, so for a harness and shoes for a boy we paid $27 and $28 for a harness only for an adult
The best indoor climbing gym in the bay. Walls are changed weekly, bouldering and Top Rope/Lead. Bouldering grade is far from soft compared to other locations. If you can flash a V5 here, you can flash a V7 in Movement. Holds are constantly cleaned and new. Location is safe and staff is friendly.
Not a lot of good routes. No tall ones at all. Some nice overhangs though. They have very weird lead test rules. Make sure to check them out before you take the test.
This place is an amazing find in the Bay Area. The ultimate climbing gym with the most routes in California- a Diamond in the ruff!
This place is inside a bigger complex with other venues, and at first it might be confusing. The personnel is extremely kind and attentive. You can go in and climb auto belays, that is a small section of climbing that requires almost no training and knowledge to start climbing. However as most beginners start there, it gets crowded real quick and one can spend here about 20-30 minutes top. After that, you can get certified to perform top rope belay using a device called gri-gri. I'm not a huge fan of it but it works. The certification "exam" is really useful for people to stay safe. There is another section with lead climbing and bouldering that I have not visited as it is mostly for members. The associates were all very kind and helpful.
