Back in January of 2022 I was struck by a car while training by walking for my next half marathon race. I was planning on walking 10 miles that day as I had already done 8 miles earlier in the week. I run / jog races for sport and by this day I had completed 99 races and had planned on doing my 100th race soon. However, as a result of the accident I had a back injury which required an operation plus years of physical therapy. The lady that struck me was at fault. I was unsure of the extent of my injuries so we decided to hire a lawyer. We took the selection of a lawyer very seriously. We and our family did not know any personal injury lawyers so I decided to seek recommendations from my lawyer friend at our Church. I asked who she knew that was respected in the community, who is both ethical and moral. She only had one name, Ben Persons, from the Person's Law Firm in Marietta. She told me she knew Ben by reputation and had worked with him on Habitat for Humanity projects. We researched Ben Persons further by reviewing his web site and reviews and decided to contact his office. We spoke with Ben and explained my accident and my injuries and our desire for a fair settlement. Ben was understanding and reassuring and his philosophy matched ours regarding an honest approach to our lawsuit.We signed a contract with the Persons Law Firm the next day. We reached a good settlement within a reasonable amount of time and we were very impressed with Ben and his assistant Tricia.
