Terrible! they took my money jk jk but really. they did The pizza spot was very pleasant, gentleman kudos for good customer service and friendly anime chat. But i gotta admit the hot dog was lukewarm…i was saddened by me cold dog. But that’s easy fix, turn up yee old warmer! Lots of new games, n plenty of choices for food. I have yet to try the hotel, someday maybe
The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. We stayed on the top floor close to the entrance and it was very quiet. The beds are comfortable making sleeping easy. We will definitely stay there again. The only drawback is the distance between the parking lot and the entrance.Rooms: 5/5
Always a great treat my dad and his company built the hotel so i always enjoy the trip up to The Point. The rooms are always clean and tight. Don’t have a bad thing to share about this establishment.Rooms: 5/5
Legitimately rigged. Had a consistent bet and right before the machine pays what I play the machine shows a locked symbol so I can't do anything and starts rolling what I was betting non stop besides a few. Pretty unbelievable. Only thing worse is NOBODY will come to help. Edit: finally Paul came and could not help me or connect me with anyone who can.
My husband and I spent July 10th weekend at The Point. Room was clean and luxurious. Restaurant was superb. Seafood Cabanero was a meal that we will return for. Jesse, the shuttle driver, went out of his way to make the trip easy for us as my husband is 93 and uses a Walker. He was the biggest PR asset for this place. We live in an independent retirement community and have spread the word. We will definitely return and make The Point a favorite weekend getaway.
We stayed at the hotel and it was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised. I took off a star because they were difficult to book over the phone and the lady offered to give us a call back but never did. We ended up booking in person.Rooms: 5/5
Arrival and Check-In - there was no friendly greeting. - guy at the check-in desk seemed bored and uninterested in helping us; he had several apparent issues using the system and voiced his personal frustrations. - he discussed a weird way of asking whether we wanted a 4th floor or 3rd floor room, leaving an apparent question with no information to make a decision, and as I began answer, he interrupted me and explained that the rooms closer to the elevators would be closer to the loud music, so if we wanted quieter, the other room would be better and we went with that. - didn't mention when checkout was. - overall an unfriendly, uninformative and hapless initial experience with this property. - he wasn't rude, just unfriendly. - 2 out of 5 Facility Experience - we were thoroughly impressed with the physical aspects of the property itself. - beautiful and quiet. well maintained! - the rooms were so quiet and dark, we overslept our first morning and we have no complaints about that! - showers were amazing and had awesome water pressure. - great shampoos and soaps, really great guys! - 5 out of 5, full marks here. Casino Member Desk - after our late checkout experience, we proceeded to the casino to get new member player's cards. - the man that helped me was frustrated that my out-of-country driver's license did not scan into the computer, so he was compelled to take manual steps and actually TYPE my name and address into the computer. - it was such an inconvenience and frustration that he essentially tossed my wife's drivers license over to the other rep at the desk and said, "can you do this one?" -- because he didn't want the hassle of helping two whole customers. - I mentioned that we came over on the Blackball Coho Ferry at Port Angeles, due to the $35 promo credit on your website. - He never heard of this ferry, confused and very reluctant to process it. Your website says to show our ferry receipt, but doesn't say what ferry providers are specifically included. It is unclear to me as a customer, and unclear to your staff also. Don't make me have to beg for your promos. Train your staff to know better and feel empowered to handle these situations. - He did explain how to claim the credit, with one hour of play and at least $1.00 in play, it should just show up. I never saw a $35 credit. I did see the $5 credit as a new member. - In conclusion the player's member experience was lackluster, frustrating and unfriendly. Plus, the ferry promo credits were not delivered. - Not impressed. - 0 out of 5 Casino - The SMOKING section should be accessed BEYOND the non-smoking section. Because, otherwise, what's the freaking point? It's not 1990. As non-smokers, we did not appreciate being forced to trapse through the full smoke filled casino to get "non-smoking" sections. Both restaurants have a strong dose of smoke! - Your casino was wound up so tight after several hours in several sessions, I had dropped about $1300 and maybe had 3 bonuses. - Many of the games do not have progressive jackpots, and the ones that did, I see that the bottom two tiers always reset to fixed dollar amounts ie $20 and $50. These sneaky tricks reduce the payout odds and stack the deck in the house's favor. It's pathetic because the spin payouts did not seem generous enough to outweigh the lost payback that those jackpots would earn the player. - I can accept that my experience isn't everyone's, but I felt that the slots were way tighter than Vegas. - Staff didn't seem happy, nor super friendly, and in cases seemingly unapproachable. A common trend at this property. - 1 out of 5 Overall - Main impression is that management doesn't care about ensuring the staff are well taken care of. Because of that your staff don't take of the customer. - Fix the smoking problems. Yuk. - It's clear that by not taking my phone number or email address when registering for your membership, you have no interest in developing a relationship with your guests. - Overall 2 out of 5. We will not be back and do not recommend. Rooms: Modern and clean.
In my journey to try different cocktails, the center bar was able to make me a prohibition era drink called The Last Word. What makes this drink is the liquid called chartuse. The drink is supposed to have a green hue to it. This one had too much maraschino liqueur. Will have to try again. Heh, one person said it tasted like a laundry mat! I can see that. But did like the drink!
Casinos are in business to take your money... go for entertainment purposes, just don't count on winning much. The hotel is awesome! And the food is pretty good as well.Rooms: 4/5
Clean rooms, quiet, comfy beds. Been here a couple times and have not been disappointed. Beautifully manicured porch, great music on fridays. We ordered a pizza and it was superb!¡!!Rooms: 5/5
