Multi Media Artist : LORRIE WICKMAN
...an ESTABLISHED, WISCONSIN potter. I have been working with clay for over 30 years.. I currently own and operate my own studio called "The Potters Wheel Too!" My biggest honors.....one being "Nationally Recognized as one of the premier top 10 Raku & Folk Art Artist in the Nation" by the World's largest collector! Thank you Jack ! and winning best of show in pottery 2014 at art for all in
Escanaba, MI art show! On to bigger and better adventures if that is possible!
Over the years I have developed a following because of my attention to the small details in a project, and my broad artistic character, style, and form. No two pieces are ever the same.
I have been teaching in my own studio and in other studio's to old and young alike, "Who have a interest in"Playing In The Mud" .
I have created many pieces of pottery and jewelry over the years. From fine art vases to folk art castles, to beautiful jewelry created for a loved one. As of late, I prefer to wire wrap and sculpture, and create beautiful wire sculptures. Creating art work that allows me to focus on my love of nature, children, and life in general. I have been "Nationally Recognized" for the past six years, creating southern Folk Art Face Jugs, Raku vases, and Raku Jewelry,
I have established a following of art collectors, fine art jewelry collectors, Raku Art Collectors, and now wire sculpture collectors, that have been watching and buying my art faster then I can create it.
Thank you for your support of my multi-media Creations!
