The Potters' Obsession

A nice shop where you can pick out various clay sculptures to paint. It take 3 coats of paint to do the best job. Once your done it usually takes a week for them to fire glaze the product before you pick up the final product.

Great atmosphere lots of options to pick from! Never had a bad experience. Always love coming here to catch up with a friend never feel rushed!

I LOVEEEE POTTERS OBSESSION!!!! Every time someone in my family has a birthday we go to Potters Obsession! Its such a cute store, and theres always an amazing selection of pieces.

Broken down poorly cleaned brushes. Bring your own! No good brushes for detail work. Small selection of paints and some were empty. Pottery choices are limited . Staff young, not overly helpful. Bathroom is gross. Was not open at time posted on website and door. I am used to Glazed Expressions in Des Moines that is vibrant with art, clean, and staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. Owners should take a road trip !!

I'm now 26 and still love coming as much as I did as a kid! The last 2 times I've come, around 4:30 during the week, they've been closed : wish they were open more in the evenings! Would also love the idea of a newsletter to promote new pieces!

Paint trays were too small and paint overflowed into other paints. Brushes and paints were either open/empty or broken. No one asked for contact information so we have no idea when our stuff will be done. There was a lack of selection for things to paint and since it was such a small shop it was very loud and getting bumped into wasn't something you could avoid.

A great place!!! Have been there multipe times and it is really relaxing. All of the prices are very reasonable and an overall great place.

I am definitely not an artist in any sense of the word, but we decided to give this a try. We had a blast! It was easy to do, a very good price for the amount of work that you can put in or not put in depending on your choice. I would highly recommend checking this out.

Wonderful spot for a unique date night, class event, birthday party or just some time talking while being creative. They have several great options to choose from and the staff is helpful with suggestions and tips. Definitely worth the time and money. Prices are $7.00 per person plus the item you choose to paint. Everything is included e. g. Paint, brushes, firing, etc.. You paint and leave it and pick up in a week; easy peezy. Have fun!
