I love bringing new enthusiasts to this shop. It's pretty much our only local fish store that isn't a corporate garbage pit, and the owner is flexible and knowledgeable about both fresh and saltwater. Chances are, if you've bought a bronze cory recently, it's from my tanks.

I think this place might have made our fish sick and none of them survived. We bought a couple of small fish and a plant, but they did not really ask questions or see how much we knew about taking care of them. We were a first time customer so it was disappointing that the employee wasn't super friendly, and when I asked for a punchcard they didn't want to look for one. Sad because it's the only independent store near Salem.

Today was my first time visiting this aquarium store. The customer service and store manager Chris, was excellent. The selection and quality of merchandise was all very good. I highly recommend this store and will definitely be back.

Tanks cleans but employees yelling at one and another. Fish stays the same week after week and prices are much higher then going to wet spot in Portland. If you have time for the drive I would go to the wet spot for more selection and better prices.

BEST PLACE EVER! Awesome people and a decent variety of items and live fish. I went back about 10 times in a month when I was setting up my new tank.
