A Public Library serving the Loudon County
The Public Library at Tellico Village is located in rural Loudon County, Tennessee. It is part of the Ocoee River Regional Library System and one of five libraries in Loudon County.
It is a full service public library that is open to all that live or work in the surrounding communities. There is no charge to receive a library card. However patrons are encouraged to become a member of the Friends of the Tellico Village organization.
Loudon County libraries receive their funding from city taxes. The Public Library of Tellico Village is not located in an incorporated city, so it does not have a tax base for funding. The county provides the salaries for the libraries two paid part time employees. The Regional library provides technical support and one book lease program. All other expenses are paid by the Friends of the Tellico Village Library. These expenses include mortgage, operating expenses and a second book lease program.
The MaryAnn Bork Courtyard, shaded by a 200 year old holly tree, is designed as an event venue and may be used for non library events.
A conference room is set up with approximately 15 chairs that are comfortably set up around a large, modular, oval conference table which can be broken down into a variety of table configurations. There are 35 matching chairs for theater-style seating upon removal of the tables. The conference room is equipped with ceiling-mounted digital projector, retractable screen, internet connection, telephone, and sound system.
There will be a sliding fee schedule for non-profits, businesses, and general public use. The fees are currently under review.

The name of the library was changed to The Public Library at Tellico Village to reflect the fact that it is indeed a public library. Its vision to to be the center for lifelong learning, providing the community with access to the information that will fulfill personal growth, cultural enrichment and knowledge in all fields of interest.
