We have been bringing our puppy here for both puppy kindergarten and puppy day camp. The day camp has been great while we are at work. Our pup comes home tired and has learned so much already! I am amazed at her growth. I really like that they take a max of 6 puppies. She gets lots of attention. Worth every penny! Attending the puppy kindergarten class has been a great way for me to bond with my pup and continue the training techniques that she has learned at day camp. Our puppy loves this place! We will continue taking obedience training and other classes here as she grows older. Starting with their puppy programs have really set a foundation for her behavior and social skills. So happy with this place!
Our mini golden doodle , Olive LOVES Puppy Perfectors! We have seen so much progress in our pup after bringing her to PP. Special Thanks to Summer, she gave us a private lesson with our reactive pup, that has given us new hope and tools, on how she greets new people. My wife and I have learned so much from Summer and PP. I highly recommend Puppy Perfectors!
We have been working with Summer for over a year. We took the reactive dog course, did several reactive obedience classes and just finished off 5 personal training sessions. Summer is encouraging, helps us set realistic goals/expectations and gives us the tools we need to work with our pup. She has given us confidence that we can help our anxious pup feel comfortable in our world. Thank you Summer!
Don't even bother visiting in person to inquire unless you're ready to be turned away. They don't have admin staff to talk to you in person or answer when trainers are busy. I understand that not everyone can staff full time admin, but the first time interaction was a very unpleasant one and didn't build my confidence. The door to the main entrance was wide open which suggested a "come on in" mentality. Before I could get both feet in the door, I was told to leave. They lady there was very curt with me and just repeated the accusatory "can i help you..?"- which as a potential client was not a good sign.. She explained she was in a private lesson with a reactive dog and was angry with me. A good way to avoid this would have been just to close the door during this session. Yet I was spoken to like I was to blame for the situation. She told me I'd have to call to get more information. Of course, when I called later there was no one on the line. It was just a very confusing experience overall and a terrible first impression.
A+ my puppy was perfected here. Kate who runs the agility class is wonderful, we always have a good time. We also go to puppy socialization on sundays which has been amazing at helping our puppy to learn to play nice. Having paid staff members watching and correcting the puppies has helped mellow out our frantic bitty puppy. They are always willing to give training suggestions too.
Nancy has been great with our and other dogs. She knows how to meet the dog/owner team at their level and work with them from there. We have seen improvement in many dogs and owners. I wish the facility was still closer to us in West Seattle. Loved all the different classes we took!
