From scratch baked goods by Jacquelyn Webber.
Jacquelyn is a baker by trade with over 10 year’s professional experience. You may recognize her from a Live at 5 spot on Wilton Cake Decorating Classes. She has also been quoted in the Coast.
Baking since she could see over the counter with her Grammy, Marion; Jacquelyn started her career at a local coffee shop providing from scratch vegan and whole foods desserts. Since then Jacquelyn has worked at several local bakeries, both large and small making breads, cakes, pies and sweets, always from scratch! She can produce just about any baked good imaginable, having a particular fondness for baking breads and creating hand shaped cakes, and more recently, tall cakes.
Clients have called her cakes “. . . lick the box” good. Of course Jacquelyn’s husband Keith (also a baker) and daughter Deidre (2 year old cupcake addict) are always happy to test for quality control.
Jacquelyn is a Wilton Method Instructor, leading courses, project classes, conducting demos and designing displays. She hosts several classes each week at Michaels Arts & Crafts Halifax. In Wilton 4 week courses or day classes, beginners to advanced bakers learn to elevate their decorating skills using Wilton Method techniques. One of Jacquelyn’s main priorities as a WMI is to demystify baking and decorating for beginners, while spreading her enthusiasm and energy for baking.
