Look, I drove a total of twenty five miles to speak to Tabatha about some health choices and CBD. She is amazing! She is so kind, knowledgeable, and so generous with her time. She will let you know what to take, what to do, and makes you feel at ease. I feel good traveling over to Plainfield to see her and support her small business.
Tabitha is very well educated for my health questions. Her store supplies many great health options while meeting allergy needs. I would recommend The Real Food Shoppe for anyone. She is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great little shop. I had been looking for rice flour for weeks for coating my sourdough banneton. I finally asked on a local Facebook group for suggestions. A few people suggested Real Foods. This was the only grocery in Plainfield that had it. Plan to go back to find other specialty ingredients they might have that I can't find at the major chain stores. Tabitha greeted me at the door and is very friendly. Turns out she had seen my post earlier this morning and replied along with a picture but I hadn't seen it when I stopped by the store. This was the last bag of rice flour she had and set it back for me in case I stopped by. Phenomenal customer service!!

Love this place and the owners. Nice family run. They are very kind and knowledgeable about the products they carry. I was able to get Charlotte's Web CBD oil through them that significantly helped decrease the frequency and intensity of my migraine.
I get my cbd and essential oils here. Owner is soooo friendly, very educated on her products, answers any questions and has helped with all my needs. She is amazing, check this place out she has all kinds of healthy products from oils to foods to soaps etc. etc...
Fantastic place for real food. Great service. Organic, uncured, unprocessed foods, vitamins, and such. From nitrate free to gluten free to any diet a person is on. The family owned and operated store sells the sort of food that is nourishing as well as nearly medicinal. Forgotten foods and locally grown delicacies meet in harmony. Spices and teas in an array as well as meats, cheeses, vegan, veggie options. All of it great and good for you.
Lots of organic options at reasonable prices. Huge aromatherapy collection and all of the pure essential oils and diffusers you would need. Workers are very knowledgeable about the products being sold and are willing to help with anything. Selection of local honey products as well!
Owner very sweet! Very clean store. A few things there can be found at local supermarkets, like the olive butter, which I'll continue getting at supermarket for 2$ less per 1 LB tub. Otherwise if there are food allergy sufferers in your home, i highly recommend this shop.
Staff is very helpful every time I go in. They seem knowledgeable, and easily answer my questions whenever I have them. Great selection food from local farms, and they seem to source as much as they can from local vendors. My only wish is that they had more space for more inventory!
