A couple of weeks ago we booked one night here for a weekend away. The location was convenient, staff were pleasant, and sheets were clean. Unfortunately there isn’t much more positive points I can say. For £130 a night we expected something better taken care of. The place is looking run down with a few issues here and there. But we wouldn’t have had anything to say about that if it weren’t for the fact we were woken up multiple times throughout the night. There were one or two loud guests not much to be done about that when reception is unmanned at night. But mostly we were woken by footsteps, doors opening and closing, and people speaking at a regular volume. Everything sounds really loud because the walls are just so thin.
Great service, the lady at the reception was exceptionally nice and welcoming. Staff is very helpful and understanding. Complimentary breakfast is very appreciated and actually quite good with a lot of choice, wide assortment of teas and fresh fruit. The hotel itself is quite quaint, in an original old building. The rooms are small but they've got almost all the essentials. No fridge though. Got a single room with shared bathroom. Bit tricky how the door closes automatically, locked myself out once accidentally while going to shower... Not ideal but I got used to it.

A lovely hotel not too far from Bristol City Centre. Friendly reception staff. I only had two grumbles, and they were only minor ones: 1 There was no reception staff on until 2pm on Monday, which meant that my other grumble could not be fixed. 2 Breakfast is between 6am and 11am, but by the time I went down for my breakfast, there was nothing suitable for vegans left. I had to check out and get breakfast elsewhere. Other than those two issues, the hotel is great value for money.
It's in a nice location in Clifton. The service at check was friendly and fast. It's also quiet and clean. The only negative experience was that I also booked Saturday night, and they cancelled my booking 2 days before. This is not great since I had to book another hotel last minute
Had another great stay! As part of work I am staying here 2 nights a week and can honestly say that Kerry, the Manager always ensures I have a good comfortable room. Nothing is too much trouble.Rooms: 5/5
Good rooms, beds were clean and comfortable. Good basic hotel, great location for the uob graduation. Grab and go breakfast was fine, complimentary so can’t complain. Plenty of places around to eat out properly. Great for the money. No lift so quite a few stairs but it is an original old house which was nice. Carpets could do with replacing as are evidently quite old and worn. Definitely no bedbugs in our rooms!
A nice hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Location is good, short walk from Clifton/ top of town. Room was nice, the carpet was very dirty however and let it down. Shower screen also broken. Car park is basically 3 spaces ! but you can park all weekend for free around the corner. breakfast is a snack bar, but nice to be included. overall recommended for price and location in the area
Lovely welcome from the lady at reception which made the stay. Room a decent size, and en-suite bathroom very clean. Fortunate we didn’t need parking as very limited number of spaces and there weren’t any available. Great location and courtesy co to entail breakfast much appreciated. Would stay again
Cancelled 3 days before our stay with no reason causing massive inconvenience. No way of getting a room anywhere else. We are booked to work & can’t change. They obviously use the Ryanair model of over booking then cancelling out a the last minute with no regard for the trouble caused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR HOTEL! OYO SUCK Noteworthy details: Utter rubbish Do not use
