The Reiki Hut offers Reiki treatments along with private yoga sessions for deep relaxation to be found.
A traditional Reiki session is done fully clothed on a massage table. The Reiki practitioner lightly hovers their hands above the client’s body, as well as lightly places their hands on the areas of the clients concern. It can also be done while in a chair, or while in restorative yoga poses. The two combined allow for even deeper relaxation to be found.
We thrive under the principle that all are one. Our practitioners are compassionate and warm, holding space for you on your healing journey. Reiki energy is present everywhere, and can be best described as loving, universal energy. At The Reiki Hut, our Reiki Master Teachers will foster deep healing to bring your body, mind, and soul into balance. The Reiki practitioner is not responsible for the healing, but is more-so a vessel, or channel, for this loving energy defined as “Ki,” that comes from a higher power. “ ki” is existent within people, animals, and plant and “Rei” is what keeps us alive and thriving.
It’s important to note that Reiki is not a religion nor is it associated with magic of any sort. The Reiki Hut does not offer medium or psychic services. Our goal is for the client to experience deep relaxation, in order to reduce the stress that comes from every day living. “Ki” is often blocked in the body, creating unwanted stress and symptoms in our bodies. The practice of Reiki helps to bring our Ki into balance, helping us to feel healthy, recharged, and aligned!
The practice of Reiki is Japenese in its roots. At The Reiki Hut, we practice Usui-Tibetan Reiki and love to share the (adapted) 5 Reiki Principles of Mikao Usui:

Just for today, I am full of gratitude
Just for today, I will work and live honestly
Just for today, I am kind and compassionate to myself and to every living thing
