The Robinson Ale House - Red Bank

I was incredibly disappointed with my purchase from Robinson Ale House. I did a takeout order of a tomato soup and some French fries. Simple right? You would think. I picked up my order around 7pm the restaurant is open until 10pm. I received ice cold fries that seemed like they had been sitting out for hours in old fry oil and then basically 1/2 of the container of tomato soup, like you know, the pot was basically empty so they just gave me whatever was left. I’ve gotten take out at this restaurant before and it was tasty but this time it was absolutely unacceptable. My soup was almost $9 and the fries were $5 and the quality was terrible. I could have gotten better quality fries at Burger King, unfortunately. I am a local and I love to let people know about great restaurants and this experience ruined Robinson Ale House for me.

I had the chance to go to this restaurant, and I am happy to say I like it A LOT. The staff seems kind, the food was delicious, and everything was efficient. I tried the vegetarian options: flatbread, risotto, and portobello burger. I will definitely order some more next time during my stay!Food: 5/5

We went here before a show and had some great food! The vibes of the restaurant were super chill and fun, and the service was great. We had a slight mishap on the burgers we ordered and our waiter went above and beyond to take care of us. Understandable that mistakes happen, and it's nice to know that when they do it will be taken care of. Would recommend for a nice burger and cocktail!

A group of 6 gathered for some great food. None of us were disappointed with the food. I thought the server could have been more attentive to us. We thought about getting another appetizer and probably would have ordered a few more drinks, padding the bill. I didn't feel like the restaurant was so busy. Sounding like a curmudgeon, I didn't realize it was kids' night. I get it at Applebee's or some place else like that. I didn't expect to listen to young children fussing and sometimes crying at 8 pm at RAH. And it wasn't just one table of upset little ones. I'm sure we'll be back the food was good and hope for a better time.

Bar area was freezing. Bartenders were very attentive. Crab cake was good. Not a lot of filler I suggest making a reservation.

We’ve dined at Robinson many times over the years. We love eating outside with our pup, and Denise always takes such amazing care of him with treats and bacon. Their doggy dinners are fantastic, too! Food and drinks vary from just okay to good, depends on the day. More vegan options like the other locations would be terrific. Hostess was oddly hostile to everyone yesterday. She was busy on her phone playing games when we arrived. Then threw our menus on the table, forgot to get a high chair for the table next to us, gave them an attitude, and left everyone around us perplexed by her behavior.

We were seated at 7 pm and after 15-20 minutes had to ask hostess to get us a server. Server was pleasant. We ordered drinks and then. I told the server I had a food allergy and I picked a meal I could eat and server checked with kitchen and was told it was ok. The server kept coming over and apologizing for delay in receiving our food. Almost an hour went by and manager came to our table and said the meal I pick was not good for me and to have an appetizer o salad. My husband canceled his dinner, as it was now 8:45 and we had 2 appetizers. The wings were not thorough cooked. We asked for our bill, now 9;30. We were told to have a good night. The bill was for our drinks and appetizers without anything complementary. We didn’t go out for a complementary dinner. We went out for a nice dinner and a drink, waited an unreasonable time to be told I couldn’t have what I ordered and wound up with appetizers and nothing to say we are sorry for ruining your night Needless to say we Will not be returning and will tell our friends to not patronize Robinson’s either Dietary restrictions: I have an onion allergy and get deadly ill

In between swimming and walking on the boardwalk, when I have come here in the summer and sat outside I've had some very friendly and pleasant service. It really helps brighten up a day. Solid pub food and good beer selection. The pleasant service has been the best part overall. Sitting and watching the breaking waves and catching the sea breeze - the feeling is complete.
