The Roost is a collective artist’s studio and alternative gallery/venue for visual and musical artists to create, develop, and show their works.
The Roost is a collective artist’s studio and alternative gallery/venue for visual and musical artists to create, develop, and show their works. Opened in May 2011 by three Kansas City Art Institute alumni; Brandon Forrest Frederick, Jason Comotto, and Adam McBride the gallery has to date hosted events ranging from group and solo exhibitions, EP releases, and Open Studios. The Roost been completely funded through community fundraisers and by the artists themselves for the past two years, and continues to support local artists through any means available.
The Roost is currently comprised of Jason Comotto, Brandon Forrest Frederick, Adam McBride, Stephanie Bloss, and Ben Hlavacek.
