The Roxy 5 was opened in 2012. Following the corporate closing of Peru's previous chain-owned theater, community leaders came together to found the Roxy 5. Awarded the Golden Shovel by the then mayor, Jim R. Walker, The Roxy Theater stood as a shining light among local business in tough economic times. Open now for 5+ years, the Roxy 5 always puts the customer & community first.

Doors open a half hour before the first show. Doors and concessions close a half hour after the start of the last show of the evening.
