The Salem Civic Center

Very clean, prices at concessions were great, staff was friendly and I hope to attend more events here! It was great to be able to get water, popcorn, etc, and not need a small loan!

Koe Wetzel brought this place down! The venue is an old-school arena-style astonishment with the primary event needs. Beer and food are easily assessable. Salem Civic Center holds a plethora of events year-round.

Really enjoyed the return of wrestling to the Civic Center. Only issue I had was when I went to have my ticket scanned they wasn’t able to have to accept tickets through the wallet system on my phone, so I had to scramble to find my order number and get tickets printed out.

Staff were rude. The no diaper bag policy is a terrible one. You can allow small clutches and handbags, but our diaper bag can’t be anything other than a gallon ziplock bag? Do better. Hire staff competent enough to check bags. After we stood in line holding our daughter and items we had to carry with no bag we made it to the front of the line. We were told they would have clear bags there for us. We asked and we’re told no they didn’t do that. So we’re just expected to hold all of this stuff the whole time? Luckily a very kind employee of yours, Lisa Moore, knew where they were and got us one. She was the only employee that we came into contact with who wasn’t either rude or completely dismissive.

The gun show was full of great supplies from first aid to 50 caliber, beef jerky to jewelry and the usual self defense swords, knives, rifles, hand guns, ammo and stunners! Trader Jerry's was there, too. Military surplus and body armor, these amusing targets and relic weaponry were interesting. Thanks Salem!

Great place for a concert! Seating is well placed so everyone has a view. Place is clean and well organized. Various venders available for your convenience!

We had our company Christmas banquet in the community room. Every detail was covered and the food was great. Very easy to work with and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Loved the fair they had for the 4th!! It was fun lots of kid rides!! And plenty of food!! We had a great time!!

Good acoustics, clean, staff very helpful. I would have liked to have the video screen so I could see the bands when people stand up in front of me.

The evnts they attract are very good. However... Seating staris WAY too steep, to the point of being unsafe. Seats too close side to side and front to back, no leg room as well as hard as a rock. Food choices completely unhealthy. Symphony attendees don't want corn dogs.
