The Salvation Army Thrift Store

EDIT: this review is for the Morganton store and is under the Morganton store’s page. I’m not sure why the Jefferson Salvation Army replied. Closed every single time I try to go even though the business hours on Google say they’re open. You won’t be short staffed if you pay your employees a living wage.

Love this store, very nice. Always find great deals, got brand new items tags still on them. And staff is over the head nice, love going in here. Always clean and good experiences!! Love the great deals!!! Always find name brands for less!

Very good prices, store very neat and orderly. 1 complaint was no size in mens pants or suits. Will definitely make this my choice of thrift store shopping . Cindy Hoyle RPSGT

Horrible! Buyer BEWARE! Bought a small cabinet for a kitchen that had a couple of things on top of it, like they were displayed. It was pushed up against a table on one side and the back was covered. The 3 sides that were covered were damaged to the point of not being fixable, but we didn't get to see that until it was loaded in our trailer. Spoke to manager who told me to 'have a nice day As a Child of God I am I credibly disappointed in this supposedly 'Christian organization.' Shame on you.

I love the store, the selection, and the super helpful staff. My only complaint is with the color-coded organization system. It gets annoying having to look through all the green shirts, all the black shirts, all the red shirts, etc to try to find something in your size.

Worst Salvation Army i have been too . Couldn't get checked out. There was a new person on register along with a regular employee and it was like blind leading the blind. Either one couldn't do anything. Then before i went in i smelled a sewage smell and the entire time the smell got worse. When i walked out not purchasing anything the raw sewage smell was even worse. I got physical sick to my stomach and snother man th as t csme out at the s as me time said something to. That was the first and last time i go there.

Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Price on some items were slightly more than I thought they should have been and others were as expected. Planning on going again.
