The Sandlot Sports Bar

I went here with my wife, recently. Not the best experience I've had. The poor waitress was a bit overwhelmed, so service was really slow. I never did get a refill on my nearly $3.00 soda. The bar side always seems to smell like sewage maybe it's the weather and I go there at bad times; it's been like that for years. Wife ordered mac'n'cheese that was supposed to have a biscuit in it, but did not It was greasy, but very cheesy. I tried a couple 50 cent wings; those were actually quite good. The build-your-own salad is a nice option, but gets a tad expensive if you add protein to it. Another complaint was that the prep-cook I'm guessing, here, who was also the waitress and probably bartender, was rushing around between food prep she was chopping something with a knife a few times, the bar, and taking orders. Don't think we ever saw her wash her hands. Maybe we missed it. At any rate, we've had better experiences, here, but this was not a terribly pleasant one.

Food is above average and they have a pretty decent beer selection. Prices are normal, maybe a tad high for the area but they have great daily specials. Esp on Sunday when they have half off pizza if you dine in.The problem is the service. Eaten here a dozen times and it's consistently bad bordering terrible. My family is done and best guess is it starts with the owner/gm not caring because the staff is always different which my be another issue since they can't retain staff. Really wanted to support this buisness but I'm done wondering where the hell the waitress disappeared to again.

I stopped at The Sandlot with my parents after we went to the Three French Hens October market. My mom and I had delicious fall harvest salads. Fresh salad with pears, cranberries, walnuts, grilled chicken, blue cheese, and a vinaigrette. My dad had a burger and wasn't too impressed. He said it tasted like it was fried and not grilled and it was not too great. I do have to say the service was great. Our server was very attentive and really nice. Not sure if I'd go back, but I did love that salad!

This place is hit or miss on service. I've had horrible bartenders and good ones. Last time I was in I waited 1 hour for my food. I still go to this bar because it's clean and really nice inside. The food is good too. If you order food be sure to get the wings with home run sauce! They need to bottle that sauce because it amazing!

Place is friendly but lately the food has just been bad. Our table had a few things wrong including a cheeseburger that was burnt and a simple pizza order that not only was messed up but looked like garbage.

Bartender on the second floor was great, Took good care of us and I tipped him accordingly. We came back later after walking around a while and the upstairs was full so tried downstairs. The bartender there ignored me, refused to make eye contact, when she did continued to ignore me, made her friends free drinks and when I tried to call it out to her she walked away and went to the other end of the bar. We left and will never go back. Stay away when they're busy because they don't care.

Horrible service. The waitress was never at the table long enough to ask for anything. The longest she was there was when she tried to give us someone else's food, then she even tried to say that was what we ordered! Wrong! Should of just left, by the time the food came over an hour later I couldn't even eat. Will never go back!

This place is fabulous. Right now there is live entertainment most Thursdays and on lots of Saturdays. The pizza is really good and the staff was super friendly and quite attentive. Huge Thumbs Up!

Food has really gone downhill the last few months. The family used to love the pizza and wings. The wait time is ridiculous. Don't recommend their pizza.

I go in here verry often do to the delicious wings & great servic . I became friends wth a bar tender & tonight whhen i went in he refused to serve me , literally due to the fact i didnt sleep wth him i was not intoxicated & had a group of peep wth me so if this is how bartendets are allowed to act in this establishment i will not be going back & nor will my friends so if u do decide to go in jst dont get close to Brycen monica yea i post this
