I have a savings account and I'm in this bank often depositing money I earned recycling metals. The employees know my face and name and are always welcoming and helpful and full of chear. I care about such treatment and would rather bank here instead of a cold internet bank that has no warm customer service response.
We go to The Savings bank in Ashville. We moved 1hour away. We drive right pass The Savings bank in Lancaster. Go to the Ashville bank just to have Janice take care of us. Janice is the best employe you have. she makes you feel welcome always has a smile on her face. Any issues you have she always takes the time to help you. We couldn't ask for a better person. She has that home town feel still that is hard to come bye these days.
They need to get a 24/7 support number for the days they don’t work so people don’t have to fight to spend their money
I'm surprised about the negative comments. Kelly isn't rude, she is actually one of the kindest people I know. Im sure if there is any problems she would be more than willing to accommodate you and fix any issues that you may have. I've grown up around the savings bank and they are one big family with big hearts who truly care about their customers. I seen a negative comment about getting something notarized. I thought they allowed non customers to come in for a fee.. I believe its free for customers but, I am not for sure. I dont think the bank deserves a 1 star because of their notary policy. All banks have their own policies. If you live in/near pickaway county they have many convenient locations around the area. If you're considering banking with them, I would go in there and talk to them and you'll see welcoming friendly faces who care about your banking needs. As long as I'm in the area, they have my business.
Hope you don’t need to withdraw funds from their ATMs. Neither of their ATMs worked correctly and were a hassle to get any cash out, but that’s okay, machines can be finicky. Their teller was extremely rude and nasty and accused me of it being my problem, wouldn’t even attempt to help. Don’t waste your time with this terrible customer service
If you are a business do not bank here. If you're account is hit with fraudulent charges the business policy does not reimburse you. Only if you are a individual customer.
Went here to have a legal document notorized. I was informed that if I did not have an account with them they would not do it. I even offered to pay for the Notary Public's time. Still a big NO, we can't help you. Don't waste your time if you have documents to have notorized.
Unable to verify my identity or address even though I had a valid identification, social security card and proof of address. Said it was their machine that wouldn't verify it, maybe they need a better machine. Total waste of time and energy.
Had a savings account opened back in 2013. I had money in the account. I checked on it today and there was no record of the account. My money is gone. Not happy!
Well I opened an account so I could order boxes of coin, I placed the order & the following week I was told their policy changed & they could only do that for businesses.
