Our Vision: Picture an idyllic countryside of mountains and a small rolling hill in the distance. Drawing closer you see beautifully landscaped and perm cultured gardens and grounds beckoning you. (The Valley Improvement Association in Belen, NM has donated 20.5 acres of land for the School of Now to be built on.) Nearer still, you’re welcomed by the unusual sight of a triangular complex of lightly colored 19 monolithic domes (www.monolithic.com) of varying sizes (deemed by FEMA to be the safest buildings being built in the world today), surrounding a central courtyard. The configuration of 40-foot diameter domes, 60-foot diameter domes and 170-foot dome (for the gymnasium) providing a private, secluded feeling, each set off with plants, walkways and canopies. Inside the multiple domes, alternating pastel lightning, natural wooden furniture and cotton sofas, cushions and pillows enhance the ambiance. At The School of Now, alternative scientific and metaphysical techniques will be first choice rather than prescription drugs, which are given so freely in other settings with many dangerous and not well-understood side effects. How would you feel about the schools getting some form of gifts to help push the prescription drugs to the students?
With each child and their entire family, a professional evaluation, a numerology chart, astrology chart and an intuitive counseling session will be provided to assist faculty in facilitating each student’s unique destiny and allowing the student to be place in classrooms with other compatible students. Sound sensitivity will be aroused by harp music, classical music or tones playing softly in the background. Aromatherapy and floral scents will arouse the sense of smell. The School of Now will also be off of the grid, using solar and wind to power the school, plus the school will have their own well.
