Beautiful historic home, lovingly preserved. Very active with events that not only contribute to the upkeep but offers intimate performances onsite. House tours also very worth the time. A hidden gem of architecture. Wonderfully maintained and managed, the Schweiker House is a must-see for fans of architecture and design. The grounds feel like a nature retreat, isolated from the bustle of Schaumburg, while being right in the middle of it. Check their website for events and special occasions.

Dan was extremely gracious, friendly, and easy to talk to I’ve had some rather awkward tour guides, especially in very small groups. He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly loves this house, property, and its history. A great time, with good jazz music in this hidden place in Schaumburg!
This was a very interesting house tour of a very unique home in Schaumburg. The tour guides were personable and very knowledgeable. My husband was blown away that he worked in Schaumburg for 20 years and never realized this house was just down the road.
Gorgeous, well-preserved house with interesting history in lovely setting. Superb guided tour. Highly recommend!
