The Secret of Beauty Salon

I went to a wedding the next day, and I felt beautiful. The hair stylist were happy, professional, immaculately clean and gracious to offer their customers coffee! I recommend them!

The salon is very clean, the staff is extremely attentive and the girls are talented. I came here for a haircut after my hair caught on a candle and burned and they gave me the cutest cut, with a last minute appointment. They were all very friendly as well.

Love doing my hair, nail, eye brow and mustache at the Secret of Beauty. The staff is great, attentive, they let give you an estimate time of your wait is. I love this salon. Clean. Staff is attentive..esp owner. Fairly priced. During week less wait time as this is a popular spot. They do nails too. Thus is my go to fire hair care. It's best therapy.

Looks can be deceiving. Highly fashionable, posh interior, however, it is much like an assembly line type of service. An appointment is useless as you will be required to wait excessively to be attended and when it is finally your turn, multiple hairdressers handle each phase of treatment, no individual customer care here. I went in at 2 pm and did not leave until 8 pm. All of the regulars were placed before me as if my time was unimportant. Ensure to ask/view the prices for each type a service prior to both have them done and for payment so it concurs with what you agreed with.

Execelent place to do your hair. being with them since I moved to Ridgefield Park and I will never change. Very professional and caring! fun and clean environment... I have Dominican hair and they really know to make it beautiful, shiny and straight that last me for days.

Efficient Hair Stylists in a clean and inviting atmosphere. Very decor, great music and parking in rear as well on the street. I went in at 8:30am was out by 10:30, my friend was in by 6:30pm, it by 7:30pmshe has shorter hair..

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I came in with my girlfriend, as she wanted a haircut. They told us the wait time would be 30 minutes or so. 10 minutes in, another woman with her husband comes in asking about services and prices, so I assume she's a walk-in like us. I leave for an errand while my girlfriend waits. One hour later my girlfriend comes out. I find out she was ignored and they serviced the other woman first including her husband. They made no effort to communicate, and we ended up walking out.

The service is good however, if you have natural hair PLEASE don’t go here. The owner suggested that I use products to soften up relaxers my hair so it can be “healthier”. I paid $70 to leave with my hair puffy.
