The mission of the Sidney and Frances Avner Torah Learning Center of Northbrook is to provide the finest quality Jewish education to the Jewish families of Chicago’s northern suburbs. These families seek a greater knowledge of their heritage, a closer connection with the Divine, and an understanding of how Judaism can bring more fulfillment to their lives. When the needs of these families are met, they become more active participants in their respective communities, as well as a vibrant contributing element within the larger Chicago Jewish community.
TLC is open to the development of customized classes to students interested in areas of study that are not presently part of TLC’s programming.
