This is a solid place to study and practice Buddhism and meditation. The community is welcoming, focused on healing via the wisdom of the body, and the natural environment is supportive to the teachings and practices. I highly recommend the retreats as well as the online classes to anyone wishing to learn more about Tibetan Medicine, meditation practices, and to genuinely be of benefit to this world. The lineage holder, Dr. Nida, has written extensively on Tibetan Medicine and Tibetan Yoga, and sometimes offers teachings and practice/study retreats on this land. My impression of him has been of a humble, kind, sincere, supportive and extremely engaging teacher. He is curious about the participants, wonderfully honest, and has quite the sense of humor! Dr. Nida’s students who often instruct workshops and classes, are extensions of a deeply profound lineage, highly skillful in the healing arts, and compassionate healers in their own right. Pure Land Farms and ALLL of its inhabitants—from the insects, the coyotes, the life giving flora, fauna, and the community of practitioners, are TRULY a wish fulfilling jewel.
