Went for my son's friend's Birthday Party. Cool place! Had fun!
I went to this place on a weekend to talk about having a laser tag birthday party for my autistic son. He has only a few friends, so I asked if instead of booking a party package which requires a minimum of 10 guests could we just do free play and maybe I could bring a couple pizzas and some cupcakes. The gentleman was so nice and helpful. He suggested that, since there was nothing booked, we could use one of their party rooms. He was very accommodating, maybe because there was literally no customers there. I was so thrilled and sent out invites immediately. The next day, someone called from The Stadium named Robin, I'm guessing she's the manager, and told me that actually this was not allowed, I would have to book a party package requiring 10 guests and $400. I explained our situation and she informed me that this was company policy so we would have to figure something else out. Now I have to cancel our party and find an alternative. Any suggestions? I tried to give 0 stars but it wouldn't let me.
I think this is a really fun venue for kids. I've been here twice for birthday parties. One was a large group, one was a smaller group. Both times we did laser tag. Laser tag was fun with the groups. There is also a soccer field, flex area for dodgeball or other games. There are a couple meeting rooms for birthday parties to happen in. Overall I can't really comment on the value for price because I don't know the full cost to host a birthday party. I do know that the 5-6 year old age group all the way up to 12-13 seem to have a fun time here. I imagine any teen though could have an enjoyable time here.
Great place for birthday party. A little bit of everything for all. Sage as our party host was great. Definitely made things easier for the parents. Great work, thanks a bunch. Repeat booking was also much welcomed bonus.
My daughter went for a birthday party, and I stayed. The staff were great, walked us through every event, but also enough open space where the kids could just run and have fun. Indoor soccer is huge, laser tag very fun, dodge ball... was a great time.
Great place for boys, they run around and get the wiggles out! Laser tag is a HIT! Boys will come out drenched, lol. They have air hockey, Foosball, ping pong, and pool tables. What's also cool is their indoor jumping castles for smaller children. Next to the jumpy castle there is a carpeted basketball court, kids had a blast! This place also offers the huge chess set all the way in the back, so awesome. The private rooms are on the smaller side so it tends to get stuffy fast, but they do provide a fan, which is nice, the point is to eat quickly and get back to playing. I highly recommend this place for birthday, special events, and team parties. I gave it a 4 stars because the air wasn't on or perhaps it wasn't working and the entire place was super hot and humid. The parents were not running around, but the kids were, and they were extremely hot.
A night out for a baseball fan on a summer evening can't be beaten if you're attending a ball game at AT&T Field in beautiful Thousand Oaks, CA. Amazing views all around watching one of the best teams in the MLB is a night of awesomeness. Food and drinks are great here and the staff is friendly. Giants fan shops have everything a fan would need/want!
Nice place, and friendly staff. The only negative thing is that no matter what time of year I've visited the establishment it has been sweltering hot. They should consider more fans besides the 1 shop fan I've seen to increase air flow, but the kids still love it.
Nice venue for kids birthday parties; BUT new staff and management are unresponsive, clueless and extremely rude. We just celebrated my kids birthday 2nd year at the Stadium and luckily Mike our host was amazing and the party was a successful. Unlike one of the reviewers below I received no appreciation as a repeat costumer, follows ups were horrible, I’m still upset about the staffs behavior. IMPORTANT: I had booked our party 6 months in advance and continuously asked for the room by the field. Every time was told “it depended on the flow of the day.” I was the first party of the day at 12:30, no soccer classes, yet I was placed in the back room because the party after me was promised the room by the field since they had said they would only have their event at the Stadium if that room was guaranteed. One of the employees let it slip. To be fair, unfortunately my party had to be rescheduled because of the recent unfortunate fires, but still doesn’t explain or excuse everything else. I think I was more than understudying, flexible and willing to work with them. Advice for the management un case they decide to care...since the room by the field is most desirable make it fair with first come first serve. And please sell the venue soon.
So much fun playing laser tag with the kids here. Such a perfect spot for parties. It's gets a little humid in the laser tag area though, so expect to work off a few extra calories because it's like a suana back there!
