I love The Steadman Clinic and my doctors. I just had a visit with Dr. Viola and I highly recommend him. He takes his time to explain the issue and the options. He doesn't have one foot out the door as he speaks with me. I have total confidence and trust in him. His support staff are also wonderful. The entire office is streamlined and professional and efficient.
Every one of the team members at Steadman Clinics in both Basalt and Vail are truly exceptional! They are very accommodating and patient, responding thoroughly to every question I had. I am ready for my upcoming surgery, and I am confident it will be successful.
It’s worth it to me to drive to Vail for visits to Steadman Hawkins. I know Denver has good orthopedic surgeons, but I love the entire process at Steadman. Quality people from the receptionists to the surgeons. Great facilities. And miracle workers who get me back doing the things I love. Worth the drive!
My life was forever changed when I met Dr. Armando Vidal. After two knee surgeries at another facility, I still couldn't get my knee straight, had severe pain, and I walked with a limp. Dr. Vidal not only fixed the problem, I no longer have pain, my knee goes straight, and I don't limp! I am forever grateful for his expertise and actually hearing me explain my pain and situation when other doctors didn't believe or listen to me. Lastly I wanted to mention Dr. Vidal's athletic trainer, Becky. She no longer works there, but she was so kind and always there for me. I couldn't of gotten through my journey without her!
Dr Armando Vidal and his team have been incredible. My 13 year old daughter had Pediatric ACL reconstruction last November and she has excelled in every way post-operatively. As an orthopedic sports physical therapist for the last 24 years, I can truly say that Armando and his team are in a league of their own.
Steadman Clinic and their Dr's have always provided us with superior treatment! Dr Randy Viola has recently treated my left hand and it is doing very well! I would recommend Dr Viola and the Steadman Clinic to anyone in need of great care.
Honestly, I waited a long time to write this review. I thought maybe I was too personally invested to be unbiased but I have had too many other professional providers and people tell me I really need to let people know. In my case, I was travelling to Steadman to have my procedure done. This is where I would say the vast majority of issues resulted and I would never do again. They set up my pre-op appointment for the Friday before my surgery and it was abundantly evident that they were completely unprepared for me i.e. nobody looked at my file for anything that may have needed to be done in advance. I filled out pre-op info on no less than three occasions. They had all my info. This is after I had already gone out of my way to ensure that my insurance provider here in Michigan would cover everything they were great. I got them all my info and Steadman was in network becuase they had already had people travel there for procedures. I have records from my providers here in Michigan calling Steadman to confirm collateral providers anesthesia and the like and not getting return calls. By the time I was getting ready to leave, I was confirming with my insurance company and tryign to get a reply from Steadman. Then, I fly there, rent a car, book a hotel for an extended stay and get checked in only to have these people tell me that they would not do the procedure because of a medication I would need to be off of that they easily could have noted and which other professionals have said should not have posed an issue regardless. Absolute insanity and I don't believe this was their reason. Now, to reenforce the level of incompetence, I get constant billing calls and notices from them. I think they had not prepared by file and were not ready for the procedure for some other reason. THEY OPTED NOT TO DO MY SURGERY AND COST ME A LOT OF MONEY. THAT IS THEIR CHOICE BUT, NOW, THEY ARE TRYING TO BILL ME FOR THINGS I DID NOT GET AND SERVICES WHICH I NOT ONLY COULD NOT BENEFIT FROM LIKE A PRE-OP X-RAY, BUT THAT I WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO PAY A COMPETENT PROVIDER FOR HAVING DONE. So, I would warn anyone that this clinic is far more interested in billing than it is providing a service. I have heard far more from them as a result of their efforts to collect for items I did not get than I did when they were preparing for my procedure. These people really were horribly neglectful, damaged me both mentally and monetarily and, after doing so literally cancelling my procedure on a whim after months of reservations and prep didn't even call to follow up. The only people I have heard from is their billing department and it has been constant. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, incompetent, aloof, ignorant, overrated, and disappointing. That is my Steadman experience. And, unfortunately for me, they still call bothering me to try to collect for the services they refused to perform ...
After major SCR and Rotator Cuff surgery, this is my opinion. Dr. Millett is an outstanding and very friendly physician. His support staff is outstanding. I flew halfway across the country to go to the Steadman Clinic and to have Dr. Millett as my physician, I live 35 miles south of Buffalo NY. The Steadman Clinic is second to none! Thank you, Dr. Millett and your support staff!!
Dr. Godin and the staff at the Steadman Clinic are top notch. Beginning on day one I have received the best care from the appointment process to recovery. Hopefully you'll never have to have shoulder surgery but if you do, go to Dr. Godin. He is amazing!
I tore my bicep snowboarding and saw Dr. Hackett on a Tuesday back in February. They were able to get me into an MRI immediately after the appointment, and I had surgery scheduled for the following Monday. All of his team, Lucas, Sarah, Rae, and many more I never met work incredibly hard, and I can’t say enough good about this place. Everyone there made me feel cared about and listened to. The only difference in my arm before and after this injury is a couple of scars, and you can’t ask for a better outcome than that. Im still able to snowboard, mountain bike, hike, and run, and it’s all because of you guys.
