The Storage Center

I wouldn't recommend using this place. There is this one women that may be in the family that owns The Storage Center by the name of Claire. This person doesn't seem to be concerned with any of the customers concerns and in my opinion, it's all about money with her. I had terrible experiences with her the whole three years that I used that facility and if it wouldn't have been such a hassle to moved my things out of there. I would have gone some place else. I had two storage units in which I paid together, but if for some reason my payment was not made by the 1st of each, this woman would charge me two separate fees. She even locked me out for $10 on the 21st of March, she called while I was at work and stated to me that if I didn't come within the hour to sweep in front of my unit, she was going to put a lock on my units, she did just that too.She also stole an extra $10 out of bank account by debiting my account twice for the same $10 that I had to pay her in order to be able to get back in the unit which i would have, been done moving our of on Sunday if it not been for my things being ruined i then had to put all if my ruined property back i to the unit, now having to pay someone ti remove these things and take them to thw landfill. Cl Claire gave me a receipt for paying the $10 that she charged me for having someone sweep up the mice droppings and shredded bits of paper that would not have been thre if the storage unit were not tnfested with rodents. She didn't want to hear anything about the fact that the rodents had destroyed a lot of my property by dedicating on urinating on and chewing up my furnishings clothing shoes etc. The rodents had made nest in my brand new shoes that were in shoes boxes, there was mouse feces and urine every where. She also charged me $100 stating that I was liable for any damages that occurred by anyone who occupied me on the property. This woman bullied me and tried to strong arm me into paying $100 right then and there stating that she was going to have me arrested for hit and run for a damaged gate, the gate was not damaged. After I had left she called the police and tried to have me arrested, supposedly telling the officer that I denied the damage and refused to pay, which in fact was a lie. In my opinion, this woman is a very miserable person that doesn't care anything about people, and in my experience with her didn't hesitate to steal from my bank account. I indeed ended up regretting the day that I moved my things into that storage facility. Again in my opinion it's a good thing that there is actual a kind person that works there when this person is not around. during my move out stating that I couldn't get back into my unit until I paid the 10 to sweep up the shredded paper that the mice a during myobw

Today I was putting away or travel trailer and our electronic hitch stopped working. So I was out there all by myself all alone trying to hand crank the trailer down now it's not a normal crank , since the electronic hitch stopped working I had to crank it down through the electronic hitch which meant taking off the top of the electronic hitch and trying to crank it down from standing over top of it which is extremely hard I wave down the owner of the storage unit he was cutting grass he came over and spent an hour-and-a-half helping me get it to the point where I could get it on hitch from my truck and that meant manually cranking it all the way down and I manually cranking it all the way back up again it was very time-consuming and very exhausting but he stuck with it and help me through. Also damn awesome storage area and they have many storage units so please come out and check it out.

I rented from this facility for about 4 months and loved it. It was a last minute deal and Claire accommodated me over the phone. Awesome customer service. Absolutely recommend this facility.

Great place to rent a storage unit. Top notch security, clean and well maintained and very good location.
