I would recommend this storage facility to anyone. The staff have been helpful and kind all the way through the process, making things as easy and accommodating for me! I am so grateful, because they've make things easier in what has been a stressful time. The unit itself is simple and just what I wanted. Its nice to have natural light in the corridors and so easy with the elevator and stair access. Parking is always available right outside. Thank you Extra Space Storage!
The staff are great, very friendly and helpful. My two complaints are 1 the storage unit prices are too high, and 2 the parking storage was removed thus leaving people in the lurch, it's very difficult to find auto/RV storage, the space there now sits empty while corporate decides what to do. Suggestion- stripe it this weekend and rent out the spaces by Monday morning. Otherwise it's great, the units are clean, maintained well. And of course the staff did I mention the staff? They're great.
The staff are down to earth and very helpful. Phone and online communication is very accessible and quick to respond. The first person to answer my call helped get me the first month free. Closing my account when I didn't need it anymore was also hassle free and quick. The only thing that I would need to make it 5 stars would be 24 hour access and/or lower rates but overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you!
Our experience was top notch! Karen is knowledgeable, accommodating, and so nice! The facilities are clean and have a variety of storage sizes to choose from. My only suggestion is to add a military discount! I would then recommend it to everyone! Keep up the personal knowledge regarding your customers!!
A nice, clean storage unit you can drive up to. A tad out of my price range, but the young ladies at the front desk were fun and as sweet as can be. I don’t mind paying a little more for good clean space and a friendly staff.
Despite changing ownership and the “woes” that can come along with that their service has remained top notch!! Karin has helped us through multiple unit changes sorry for the hassle! and always remained positive and solution oriented. Thank you Karin, it’s staff like you that keep this place friendly, hassle free and comfortable!!
My experience was great. When I drove up to the gate I couldn’t get in. I was quickly met by a very friendly employee, whose name I later learned was Janessa Olson the assistant manager. She directed me and my father to the office where I was greeted by Dominic, the manager, who was very kind and helpful. Between the both of them, I was helped in the most courteous and efficient way possible. The entire transaction was very easy and the interaction super friendly. I highly recommend the Carpinteria facility of Extra Space Storage.
Extra Space was amazing especially Dom, She was helpful, attentive, and was cheerful in providing answers to so many of our questions. The staff was courteous and professional. Thank you for your facility for safely, thoughtfully, and professionally storing our family treasures.
I do not recommend Extra Space storage. Within one month I learned that they would not do anything proactively to handle the mice droppings I found in my storage locker because of their corporate policy. An unchecked rodent problem mushrooms very quickly. Also the customer service person behaved curtly and was more interested in the policy than my issue. I had to chase her down to get a response to my questions. A few weeks after the incident above I received notice that my monthly rent was going up, nearly doubling my monthly cost. I understand changes in policy. I get needing to increase costs. I simple sense that Extra Space Storage is implementing changes without looking at / considering the bigger picture. Lastly, I don’t know what the company culture is like to allow a customer service rep to behave as she did…
The storage unit was very clean, and I had no qualms about my items being in good shape when I returned to empty my storage unit 7 months later. WHY did I empty my storage unit? Because after only 7 months, I received a notice that my monthly charges would increase more than 45%! No thank you! Quite disappointed and will not recommend!
