Sugarplum did our wedding cake and they blew our expectations out of the water. The tasting was SUCH a fun experience and portions were so generous that we had to take some home. Then we still couldn't quite decide, so they made an EXTRA tasting plate and DROVE IT UP TO DENVER to deliver it! Then the actual cake itself looked and tasted amazing! And if that wasn't enough....they told me a year ago that they would give us a free anniversary cake! "We just don't want you to have to eat year old, frozen cake". How incredibly sweet is that! And it was equally as delicious as the original. Super impressed by this company and can't recommend them enough.
Far too often, wedding cakes aren't that good but sugarplum cake shoppe is amazing!! I had guests from my wedding texting me for days after my wedding to compliment the cake. They are so easy to work with, professional, and obviously very talented. If you need a professional cake, call them!!
Sugarplum made our dessert bar for our wedding and it was amazing! All of there desserts taste so good, but their conolies were to die for! Our cake was gorgeous and the layout looked super cute!
This is such a cute little shop!! I got a key lime bar and an Oreo cheesecake bar but the key lime did not last long enough to get a picture LOL but these treats are so cute and the attention to detail shows how much love goes into each product. Their bakers and decorators are incredibly talented and if I lived in town I don’t think I could order a custom cake from anyone else. There was a big custom order sitting in the case when I got there, it was shaped like a guitar and looked like it came right out of one of those baking shows! And the gluten free options were incredible, there are major corporations with less options. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everyone was super nice too
If you're in the midst of wedding planning, I highly recommend choosing Sugarplum Cake Shoppe. The desserts were absolutely phenomenal and left everyone raving! Beyond the incredible treats, the overall experience was simply amazing. My only regret was not ordering even more for the big day, as everyone couldn't get enough of it! A solid 10/10 recommendation from me!!
We used Sugarplum for our wedding cake and desserts, and we were blown away by them! Everything from the communication, to the tasting, to the day of was so easy and exceeded our expectations. Every team member we interacted with was so kind and willing to help with an order modification. We did a wedding cake as well as multiple other treats on our dessert bar cheesecake, lemon bars, mini cupcake, baklava, etc and everything was delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests. We would definitely recommend Sugarplum!
Extremely unhappy with our purchase. Spent $380 on our daughters 5th birthday cake. Asked if they could have it ready by 2- they did not have it ready until after 3. Although they did call us and tell us they were running late. We had to have someone else pick it up because our party already started. First, the color scheme was not what I asked for. I asked for a rainbow and got blue, purple, and pink. Second, they boxed it to where they smashed the whole front of the unicorns face which ruined the whole cake. We can’t even speak on the taste of the cake itself because we have not even tried it yet. I can’t get past how disappointed I am in the appearance of it. We tried calling them immediately, but it says their shop is closed at 3, so unfortunately we can’t get answers on it today. Will not be returning. ** I came back to edit that the lady who spoke to us and reviewed our pictures was very understanding and refunded us. So I am very appreciative of that.
My husband and I worked with Sugarplum for our wedding cake and they are absolutely fantastic! The process was so easy and quick and made my wedding planning expereince easy and fun! Our cake was beautifully designed and tasted amazing. Sugarplum was excellent to work with and seriously made our wedding day so special. We especially loved the almond flavored cake!
I have ordered 3 custom birthday cakes from Sugarplum and all of them have been fantastic! The designs always come out exactly the way we want them and the cake and icing are delicious. I also like to buy the cakes and pies they have in the display case.
Wow! The wedding cake you made for our son’s wedding was spectacular. I was in awe when I saw it. I never saw a three dimensional cake before and it was breathtaking. The cake offered raspberry and lemon filling. Both were delicious. The homemade chocolate chip cookies were a wonderful treat. Thanks again for making Abraham and Abigail’s wedding beautiful.
