The Sunflower Cafe

This place gets 1 star for the convenience but that is it. I was in the cafe 1/9/18 for their Taco Tuesday. They have a white queso that is usually pretty good. That day it was not. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my purchase with the owner Rhonda and instead of offering a resolution or apologizing for the sub par cheese dip, she said okay and walked away. When I returned to my office I was notified that she went to the head of my department, said that I was rude and cursed her about the dip. First of all, I was on my time, paid with my money and if i am dissatisfied with a purchase that is my problem. Secondly, as a business owner it is poor business practice and poor customer service to complain about a customer not being happy with a purchase. She tried to get me reprimanded by my superior because her feelings were hurt, she was offended or whatever the case. Either way if I was a patron off of the street she would not have been a position try to affect my place of employment. Never is a creamy appetizer suppose to be powdery lumpy and bland. It was bad. Her cakes are hit/miss. The cookies are not consistent. The owner's attitude leaves much to be desired. Which is the reason for this low review. I will not patronize this cafe again. I advise you to proceed with caution. They're pretty expensive for mediocre food and poor customer service.

I went here to eat and i wasn’t satisfied with my meal, i told the manager Rhonda? I do believe that’s her name, and she was rude and disdainful. If she treats her customers like this I don’t see how she’s still in business. She could’ve apologized maybe offered a gift card or something. If I’m spending money in an establishment, I expect THE LEAST good service. She need to get her attitude under control and do better at pleasing the customer, I will not come here again.

I have had lunch many days this year and every time enjoyed their fresh and tasty food. The setting looks more like family eat-out The service was great and cordial. I like their soups as well, Their food price was less to comparable other restaurants.

Ignore the 1 star ratings... it looks like one person had a bad experience so they acted like a child and had their co-workers also submit bad reviews. The food is good and the staff is friendly. I office across the street and eat here two, maybe three times a week. There is a daily special, a salad bar and a grill where you can have anything made that you heart desires.

I stopped in to pick up some pastries for a birthday celebration and they were all so good! The chocolate peanut butter cookies were one of the best cookies I've ever had! While I was there I got lunch as well. The chicken salad on the croissant was delish!

They are a great place to have a nice lunch. The wonderful staff will go out of their way to make you what you want and how you want it on the grill. The hot bar is delicious every time. The deserts, oh my heavens, they are so good.

I had a problem with my meal and tried 2 address it with the waiting staff before asking for a manager. It seemed the lady feels like their cafe is incapable of making any mistakes. The lady tried 2 make me feel like they didn't care about me spending my dollar there! So I'm just gonna use my voice on my radio station and I'm sure the business won't like it!

It's a bakery so obviously the food brings you in, but the personable, friendly service and very affordable prices for delicious lattes and scrumptious sweets will keep you lingering longer. The kind of place where you just feel comfortable. Like coming home to Mom's kitchen and fresh baked goodies and yummy beverages.

Great food and great people. Regardless of what meal you are getting, the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and courteous. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by.

Terrible service!!!! I was unsatisfied with the food i ordered and instead of fixing the issue, the owner was rude and dismissive. i will never again eat here and will gladly let anyone else know not to eat here! unfortunately i had to give one star to submit this review as the get no stars from me!
