"A group of us got together to create a non-profit, community pool and fitness center. Vermonters know you can fit a lot into a barn, and in our case we were able to include a competition-sized swimming pool, swim lessons, personal training, fitness center, yoga studio, and group exercise classes!Small town life has its advantages, but a facility like this isn’t usually one of them. We welcome you to join us or just visit for the day!"

It's a great spot for swimming and working out. It's a little expensive, $20 for adults, even if they don't swim and $14 for kids. But if you spend some hours there it's a good time. Waterslide, diving board and wading pool all offer some unique feels for a small Vermont town.

The Swimming Hole is conveniently located, within quick walking distance of the Stowe Recreation Path, has a large gym and pools and ample parking. It has attendants to show you around, private trainers and instructors that teach physical and aquatic classes. The downside is that the prices are very high. Even with family specials and monthly & annual contracts it is still expensive.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to offer swimming skills tips, which was very much appreciated. The locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers were nice and clean.
The Olympic sized swimming pool is really what makes the The Swimming Hole stand out when comparing it to other gyms in Stowe. They locker rooms are very clean, and you can safely lock your valuables in there. They have just about every exercise/work out machine you can think of. Very friendly staff too.
Closest equivalent to a YMCA in Stowe, housed in a beautiful facility made to look like a barn, complete with silo. Water slide for the kids, great pool for laps. Ergs, treadmills and elliptical machines all with a view of the pool. Day passes available. Tip: if you're in town for a while or are a frequent visitor, buy a discounted book of passes. They don't expire.
Great swimming pool for training in and it also had a kids splash area as well. Fully equipped and large hymn. Spinning class and yoga studio. Good size changing room and showers. Family friendly? Certainly.
The pool is a Fun time for young kids but expensive. We got day passes. My wife wasn't swimming, she had on jeans and a blouse, and they wouldn't let her in unless she paid $18! She had to wait outside while I took the kids to the pool. And they need more chairs around the pool, especially the kiddie pool, for people/parents to sit.
The Swimming Hole was built to serve both the local and the tourist population. It's state of the art facilities include a spin room, yoga studio, exercise room, lap pool, and kid pool, complete with a slide! This is by far the cleanest swimming pool you'll ever step foot in. Ask for a towel at the front desk!
Best swimming pool and gym around. The amount of equipment covers most of anyone needs form beginner to advance. The pool area is great for laps or bringing the kids with a water slide, diving board, water basketball etc.
