"Tahyo" is a Cajun term for a big, hungry dog. At Villalobos Rescue Center, we have plenty of those to feed!

Description

The Tahyo (pronounced TAAY-YOUR) is a very unique accessory shop for dogs and their humans. Some of our merchandise comes from all over the world from loyal supporters. We have one of a kind shirts to funky, cool jewelry for the humans. And of course for our "tahyos" we have collars, leashes, you name it. Also in our new French Quarter location, we will offer signed merchandise (and sometimes photo ops) from the cast of our TV show, "Pit Bulls & Parolees". Proceeds from this store benefit our non-profit organization: Villalobos Rescue Center.

Such a cute store. It was kinda hard to find in my opinion but once we found it I was glad we did. They had "beer" For dogs and really cute treats for them too. We go my dog pretzel bites with peanut butter on the inside. We also bought her a cake to make since her birthday is coming up! Love how proceeds from that store go back to help rescuing dogs. Also in my opinion things were reasonably priced.
Please go! The money you spend here goes to help support the wonderful work of Villalobis Rescue. I would strongly recommend you take the tour of Villalobis then go to Tahyo where you can purchase awesome shirts and souvenirs that will help feed and care for the amazing dogs at Villalobis. Because I was there at the start of Mardi gras I had to buy the shirt representing NOLA and Villalobis picture attached. Unfortunately, I was only there 2 days for work so I couldn't get to their Restaurant/bar, however I definitely will next time.
They are wonderful people devoting their lives to a great cause. The store was welcoming of our dog and had some great animal friendly gifts.
Buy everything because profits go to help the dogs! We love our t-shirts & hoodies!! Staff were very nice, thanks guys!! Loved our entire visit to NOLA
The Staff Were Exceptionaly Welcoming! It Was a Wonderful Down to Earth Place and The Price's Were Very Reasonable Considering All Proceeds Are for The Villalobos Rescue Center!!!!
Was so excited to be able to visit the store much less see someone from the show. As soon as we walked in she started helping us and answering questions and even though she was obviously busy she stopped to take pictures and was so kind and friendly!!! Made my day Thank you for your kindness to the four legged & two legged LOVE LOVE YOU & YOUR FAMILY!!!
Fried Brussels sprouts and hamburger were great. Taco Tuesday was also great. Fried were greasy but served hot. Service was very friendly. Very casual and welcoming. Was disappointed I really wanted to buy a t shirt, however you can donate toward the rescue. Which was a plus.

Nice little store, brought our bully in to see it all the way from Austin .Wish employees had been warmer/friendly greeting or speaking to us. They were more interested in their own conversation and couldn't care less we had walked in.
