At that time, the quick talking timeshare salesperson made lots of promises and guarantees which turned out to be very misleading. For example, we discovered that the annual maintenance fees increased significantly every year. Also, these fees are payable forever; and would even pass onto our heirs. Due to these exorbitant fees and that the timeshare no longer met our vacation needs; we made the decision to get out of our timeshare contract. Easier said than done!
