Tiny Barn is the collaborative effort of sisters Monica Minski and Julia Ponzek. Although they have been making art together for years, their recent work has undergone a playful shift in spirit.
Magdalena Minski was born in July of 2013 and her birth inspired their art to take on a new life. Tiny Barn is the sisters’ creative nest egg for the next generation of artists. It is an invitation to join in, to paint, to make art, and to make a mess! The pieces are meant not simply to be hung and
admired, but also for interaction. The goal is to create something for the next generation of tiny artists to continue, it is an idea, an outline; no one says you have to color inside the lines!
