Steak house
The Torch Restaurant first opened in 1957 under the name "The Charcoal House". Harry Porter took over a few months later and created "The Torch Restaurant".
Harry Porter has passed the flame to Telly Gialouris, who continues the tradition of fine dining. All of our steaks are cooked over charcoal on the open pit in the main dining room. Our steaks are all natural - no preservatives or tenderizers. We hand cut most of our steaks - allowing for some variety in selection. Also, we hand-bread and prepare from scratch all of our seafood items and salad dressings. From experience, we find that our customers prefer to dine leisurely, but if you would like prompt service, please inform your server!
