Ordered 2 meals for my fiancé and I items: post one. Wanted to try the pancakes. Took 25 minutes only for my pancakes to be forgotten. Tried calling back but phone calls send straight to a filled mailbox. As bad as my first experience is so far. I am willing to give another shot. I recommend calling first. If the phone sends you to a full voice mailbox still, then know this company hasn’t improved. Kid-friendliness: Great! Parking: Great parking :! Wheelchair accessibility: Good! Dietary restrictions: Good!
This place is so dang yummy. We came here for breakfast and it was great. The food came out superfast, the sausage gravy and biscuits was incredible, the eggs were delicious l. My son had the pancakes and they tasted great, he ate them so fast. My wife got the "hot mess" she really loved it, she said it was spicy but great. I tried it and thought the same thing. Overall the food is really good. The place was very clean and very spacious. Our server was incredible. She was very attentive and kind. I don't ever see my self going anywhere else for breakfast. We found our new place. Kid-friendliness: They were great to our children. They had crayons and paper for the kids to color with.
They choose not to answer their phones for to go orders. Called multiple times with no answer. Walked in the restaurant and called and no phone rings. Must turn their ringers off. Waited 20 min for my to go which was ridiculously over priced. I paid $18 for this meal $1.99 for “extra” broccoli and there are 4 pieces in it. My fried okra was not separated so it is completely wet and soggy. I could’ve went to Longhorns for cheaper.
Second time visiting in 3 years of time and the quality and service is impeccable. Tara took great care of us during this visit and was exceptional. Definitely a different way of life in the South than at home in New York. We will definitely be visiting on every trip we take to Georgia. Thank you for the great food, service, and conversation!!!!
Had heard of before but ate there for the first time Saturday. Good service and good food. I had the club sandwich and my wife had the BLT. Both were great. Will definitely go back.Food: 5/5
We went here after church this past Sunday. It was crowded, but the wait was not too bad. The menu is limited on Sunday's - they don't offer everything, but you are sure to find something you want! I just had a vegetable plate and my wife had country fried steak with brown gravy, creamed potatoes & gravy and fried okra. It was very good - the food was freshly prepared and hot. Great little meat & veggie place! We've eaten here a few times and the food and service has been consistent.
Good Ole Country store atmosphere that you can get a hot meal in. When you walk through the doors you're taken back in time. The look is rustic please check out the pictures. I was only there for breakfast which was good. I was told to come back for the fried chicken.
Great experience. The staff was very friendly, only waited for a minute for them to get a six top set up for us. Food came out hot and fast, and the quality was great, particularly based on the reasonable prices. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu, staff engaged with the kids
Food was great our server was very nice. From the outside it looks small but when you get inside It’s BIG.
For those that just want the rating without reading all of this. Food was 0 stars. Service 1 star. Cleanliness 0 stars. Atmosphere 0 stars. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences that I have ever had. There was no apology, no manager or supervisor to come over to try and make anything right. Seriously it was like this was such a frequent occurrence that it was a normal to everyone. I will not go back. Now the details...I used to enjoy this place every now and then, nothing special, but a nice friendly place for southern cooking. When I received my food, I removed my bread from the plate and cut up my onion. I normally don't provide step by step what I do in a restaurant, but you will see why I am providing this detail in a moment. I went to turn my plate and my fingers immediately felt crusted old dried food on the bottom side and I am not talking a small amount. If there was that much on the bottom, no telling what might be under the food, or what the plate that was sitting on top of this one looked like! It was enough to turn my stomach. I immediately cleaned my fingers back off and waited for the waitress and told her the situation about such an unclean plate and that this food was contaminated and I was not able to eat this. She looked at me like a deer in headlights and said what do you want me to do? I asked her to take that food away and bring me a clean plate with fresh uncontaminated food. In under a minute or two time I had a new plate of food in front of me. Now how did they fix a new dish that quickly, I wondered. Then I noticed that no bread came on this dish and the onion was cut up how I had previously cut it up. So, this was my first contaminated food on what I suppose was a cleaner plate. I called the waitress over and told her and she just immediately said "I have no control over what the kitchen does". I told her I would not be able to eat at this restaurant at this time.
