Vacation prior to declaration of pandemic booked with The Travel Zone for our large group. We arrived to the resort after midnight, missing our entire first day of the vacation, only to be told our rooms were not reserved. This took a great deal of time to resolve, and not to mention we had children in our large group who were very tired. This was only the beginning of issues we experienced on this vacation. We communicated our concerns to both this travel agency and Sunwing only to have no resolution or further follow up from either of them. Very disappointing and will NEVER book with Sunwing or this travel agency!  I have booked vacations on my own and I highly recommend that versus using a travel agency. This was a large group vacation arranged by a friend and the only reason we booked through the Travel Zone.

My husband and I have booked many wonderful trips with the Travel Zone over the last 10 years or so. Cathy is our favorite agent and our go to when we want to get away. She has great recommendations and once we decide on a destination she takes care of all the details, from flights to the best rooms to private/seamless transfers.  She gets us competitive pricing and recommends excellent resorts. I have also referred many friends and family to Cathy who have had the same 5 star service.

It’s easier to book your vacation online yourself even for a large group than having to deal with the staff at this travel agency.  Our group of friends booked a destination wedding with Teresa Maceroni. The trip was booked about a year in advance and we were advised we didn’t need to pay for the remaining balance of the trip until 2 months before the trip. Turned out we all received an email advising us 6 months before the trip that if we didn’t pay the remaining balance the trip would increase in price. We obviously had all of our paper work which made it clear that this was not the case and we didn’t have to pay early.  A couple that travelled with us were unable to check into the hotel because the hotel never received their reservation. After a very frustrating day and night they were able to get it all sorted out with Air Transat and were reimbursed the fees they had to pay to stay the first night.  I will not be booking any future trips at this location.

Me and my husband have been clients of the Travel Zone in tecumseh for many many years.  Our go to girl is always Ellie and we can't say enough good things about her and the whole team.  They always go above and beyond in dealing with our sometimes crazy requests in a timely fashion.  I never hesitate to ask a question, or about an off the wall location or idea as I know they will always give me the best advice they can.  Whenever we have booked a trip with them we have no problems at all and if there were to be any I have the upmost confidence that they would do everything in their power to remedy it.  Ellie always checks in with us after our trip to see how everything went!  I remember a time where our luggage was lost and Ellie dropped everything to help us out and locate where our luggage was and when it would make its way to us!  Beyond the call of duty for sure!  Even when we go away with a group of friends that are booking with another travel agency we always book ours through Ellie at the Travel Zone because we love them so much!  Please disregard any negative reviews of this business...they do a wonderful job and we will be life long clients for sure!!!!

Terrible  I have never experienced such disorganization and unprofessionalism. My family and I were dealing with a woman named Catherine and felt like burdens more than customers. Questions and inquiries did not feel welcome. Trying to book anything was very difficult, and if plans changed with flights etc, I was not informed by our agent, we were notified by other members of the group by coincident. Some members of the group reported rude statements regarding financial availability when our resort was destroyed by a hurricane and we needed to rebook another resort on our credit cards. When it came to rebooking flights, the flights were not booked in a timely manner resulting in price increases, as well as the wrong flights negotiated being booked also resulting in 4 hour lay overs. When the air line was notified of these changes they encouraged us to not book flights with this travel agency again. I STRONGLY encourage anyone looking to book a vacation to go elsewhere.

We work with Teresa and she has made every trip we go on easy! Especially out last 2 trips to Europe for 3 wks and seeing 8 different places. From rail, to air, to car rentals Teresa helped us with everything! Don't believe the other reviews. We had the most amazing trips and are currently working on another for July 2018.

Working with a professional like Ellie made booking our vacation easy. I did not have to spend hours going thru websites to find the perfect hotel., flight and destination.  The attention to detail that Ellie gave me was great!
