The most stunning venue you’ll lay your eyes on in the Hi-Desert area. My husband and I found Tumbleweed when we were looking for wedding venues near Joshua Tree, early in the pandemic. We booked it without having seen in person, only online photos. The beauty that was captured on their website was enough for us! The property is large, but feels contained at the same time. We were able to have our ceremony near the entrance of the space, our reception on the hardtop, our first dance in the labyrinth, our sunset photos on the scenic trail, and our dance party inside. There was no inch of Tumbleweed that was left unexplored by us and our guests. Dorothy, Vicki, and the rest of the hardworking folks at Tumbleweed deserve the world! Hope to see Tumbleweed thriving in this community for many years to come. We created many magical memories there, and hope other couples get to experience that as well.
We had our wedding & reception at Tumbleweed Sanctuary in April 2022. What a magical and beautiful venue in the desert! We took a chance and booked this venue for our wedding site unseen because it looked so perfect, and we were blown away when we had our site visit. Absolutely stunning! The staff were helpful throughout the entire planning process and incredibly accommodating for our Hindu ceremony traditions and furry out-of-town flower girls. The furniture that is included in the rental contract is gorgeous. Our guests continue to rave about this beautiful venue, inside and out, and we talk about how perfect it was all the time! We are so glad we chose Tumbleweed Sanctuary for our wedding! Truly a gem!
What a magical place! My husband and I are so grateful to have been able to share this amazing property with our friends and family on our wedding day. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our love and staff went above and beyond to make it a great event. The disco ball in the Sanctuary was the cherry on top of a fantastic evening and dance party!
Tumbleweed is a dream of a venue. There is something so magical about this place and my husband and I knew that this was the place for us to get married the second we walked on the property. Dorothy and her team were so accommodating and helpful through this whole process and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you to all of tumbleweed for the most perfect day.
WOW! My wife and I celebrated our wedding and reception at Tumbleweed Sanctuary a few weeks ago October 2022, and were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful space! Dorothy and her team were incredible and helped ensure that the evening ran smoothly. We had first visited Tumbleweed for an artists fair in 2019, and knew that this was the space for us when it was time for our wedding. Can't recommend Tumbleweed enough!
We booked Tumbleweed Sanctuary, Garden, and Labyrinth for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was truly the best decision we made for our wedding day. As soon as we visited Tumbleweed and met with Julie to discuss our vision, we knew it was the perfect place. The sprawling property has many different seating areas, space for game, indoor/outdoor space, and a nature walk for pictures that look as if you are in the middle of nowhere in the desert! There are so many different places to take BEAUTIFUL pictures, enjoy nature, and gather with friends and family. All of the furniture and decor provided is beautiful, modern, bohemian style that compliments the desert so well. The staff was incredible to work with to answer our MANY questions and coordinate our day flawlessly. During the planning process, we were able to visit the venue a few different times by ourselves, with our parents, and with our coordinator and the staff was always so welcoming, kind, and patient. The venue and staff are LGTBQ+ friendly and allowed us to convert the “male/female” bathrooms to “gender neutral” to accommodate all of our guests. Our family and friends all adored Tumbleweed and had such a fun time exploring the property, taking photos, and soaking in the beauty of the desert. I would highly recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary, Garden, and Labyrinth for a wedding/ special event venue! I wish we could get married here again!!
I don't have enough words to explain how magical Tumbleweed is. From the second I set foot at the venue for my first visit I was in awe! Our wedding was perfect in everyway, even with the weather forcing us inside we got all four seasons in one day the staff and crew did an amazing job of switching gears to get it all done. Dorothy was the absolute best, she made everything work for us to still have our special day inside. I would love to come back and do a vow renewal at the Joshua Trees one day. Thank you to everyone at Tumbleweed!!
We could not recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary more! The venue is absolutely stunning, with tons of Joshua Trees at the back of the property, and other beautiful cacti. The sunset there is incredible and made for absolutely beautiful sunset photos. We got married at the two big Joshua Trees and we couldn't be happier with the unique "arch". A lot is included in the rental and at the time of our wedding, we felt the cost of renting the venue was very reasonable. There is also an indoor building that is beautifully decorated inside that we used for our rehearsal dinner, and can also be used for dinner/the reception we chose to have our dinner and reception outdoors under the string lights. Our guests were blown away by how incredible the venue was and we are so thankful we were able to have our wedding at Tumbleweed. The staff there are wonderful to work with as well! They actually saved our wedding day - our previous venue canceled on us 3 days before our wedding, and somehow Tumbleweed was available on our date with 3 days notice and they helped us save our day!! We will forever be grateful to Sabrina and Vicki for everything they did to help make our wedding day possible on such short notice.
Highly recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary! The venue is beautiful and we loved everything that it had to offer: a nature trail with tons of Joshua Trees and other desert flora/fauna, a fun vintage trailer for the bar, an indoor area for dancing complete with a giant disco ball, and a variety of cute furniture. Dorothy and the whole Tumbleweed team was super helpful and quick to answer questions throughout the planning process and the wedding itself. We loved the different options we had for ceremony and dinner locations/set up and everything on the day of our wedding was stunning! We couldn't have asked for a more magical venue!
After hosting our wedding at Tumbleweed, we have nothing but positivity to share. First, the venue is absolutely stunning. The grounds are very well kept and create a uniquely beautiful space to host an event. On top of that, Tumbleweed is an extremely pleasant venue to work with. Dorothy, the event manager, is friendly and responsive. Additionally, the wedding package included a ton of cool furniture and accessories that work perfectly with the space and aesthetic. Highly recommended!
