The Turquoise Pearl was started between two sisters. My sister and I. She's great. And pretty. And smart. And I'm probably her biggest fan. Her name is Tisha. She loves Jesus, her Iphone and MacBook, her dog, Daisy, and Kansas State University. She's pretty darn awesome, but again, I'm biased. I'm the older sister. 9 years to be exact. I've always been the busy bee of the two. I don't meet a stranger and I'm always selling something. My name is Tatum. It’s nice to “meet” you! It's the people part that I love. Finding and falling in love with awesome products is the easy part. It just happens that my sister and I seem to have stellar taste and love a unique look. We learned our flair from our mom. We aren't big players in the world of retail. But we love being girls. We love fun and funky, unique and cowgirl chic. We like affordable. We don't mind paying for quality or something that is really cool and unique. But we are real girls just like you and we are budget conscious. And… we are excited to bring you our take and our passion...in turquoise, pearls, leather, boots, fur, and lots of sparkle. Our heart is to draw people to Jesus whether it's in the grocery store, at the mall, or hanging out a tradeshow. Women have forgotten that their true beauty lies in their identity of who Jesus says they are...not a man, not a job, not a failure, not a success, and not a tag size. If our mobile boutique puts us in front of 1 woman or 30 who come to know the true meaning of "beautiful"...then our mission is complete. The fact that we can wear rhinestones in the process is just the icing on the cake :) The Turquoise Pearl's favorite verse is "She's clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25
We believe that women have great destiny in the kingdom of heaven and here on earth. We also believe that God has destined women to be at the forefront of spiritual battle to bring people to the saving grace of Jesus...so we take up our swords...bedazzled of course...and we fight the good fight. And we believe...that many will come to know love and joy and an authentic Jesus through a very real "no religion up in here" experience with The Turquoise Pearl.
