The Ultimate Sports Bar

I have been to the Ultimate Sports Bar a few different times, and the experience is pretty consistent. Wait times on food have never been bad, whether it was a slow afternoon or a busy evening. Wait staff is always friendly; strangely enough, the few mistakes they did make with our orders were on the visits when the place wasn't very busy. TVs are everywhere, as well as a couple of front projectors on the back wall, so it's a good place to catch a game. They have an OK selection of beer on tap with a few micro brews, and I haven't had any bad food yet; I highly recommend the Ballpark Fries...they are amazing. Overall, a pretty solid sports bar if you aren't looking to fight the crowds at Buffalo Wild Wings. Edit: I revisited the Ultimate Sports Bar several months ago with a few friends, and while the atmosphere was more or less the same, the rest was not. It was a quiet evening our group made up about 50% of the patrons and yet our service was slow and the food was not nearly as good as I remember. I don't know if the place had a management change or if it was just a bad night, but unfortunately we will not be making an effort to go back.

so loud you can't hear the person next to you. The apps took a good 12-14 mins. My fiance got the pizza bread disappointing I got spinach dip which is pretty good. We were going to order entres but after our waitress took our app order she just took our menus and walked away? So we thought we just order when our food came out but it took so long we decided not to. Wanted to like this place....

I've never been to a bar in Wixom before, and I will never go to one again. I came with my boyfriend, which we are a younger couple but assumptions lead to bad tips which we are awesome tippers. I ordered a long island and my boyfriend had a beer. We went to play pool, while I we playing I accidentally knocked over my boyfriend's beer with the pool stick. No big deal at any other bar I've ever been to, I cleaned it up. I was cut off after another long island which I was not belligerent. Then a man told my boyfriend outside that the old lady who still wants to be 30 who i'm assuming is the owner/owner's wife told him to get us off of the pool tables because we were not good enough. Moral of the story; won't be back, I've never dealt with such rude people and I've been to bars all over.

Terrible service - Terrible food. Place was 80% empty yet it took 30 min. to get our food after ordering just two lunch items. I had the sliders plate. These weren't sliders by any ones definition. They were a thick mini-burger, not tasty and not juicy, with only lettuce and tomato on them! A slider is a grilled flat burger with grilled onions and maybe cheese. Who the hell puts only lettuce and a thick slice of tomato on a slider? It all slid apart in my hands and tasted like crap. No pickles on the plate either. It came with home made potato chips - over cooked and not appealing. The only good thing about this place is the TV's - they have plenty of them. If you're just going there to drink - it may be okay. Otherwise - steer clear of this place cuz evidently the management has no idea what they're doing.

The service was pretty bad but the chef must have been awesome because the food was great! Next time I will just tip accordingly for the service. Or maybe just make sure the chef gets a tip too!

Would be a very nice sports bar if they if they cared about sports.
