This was one of the most unprofessional uncompassionate visits iv had. By Far the Worst case of Hippa Violations iv ever witnessed. And i was in the medical feild for 19yrs. First u go in to registration and she put the wrist band on so tight it was cutting into me, then they take u back to a waiting room and have u sit in geri chairs. U are only seperated from other patients that are beside u by a curtain. The pateints across the walk path u can see everything. They drew my blood with no privacy, got blood all down my arm, my pants and the floor. This has NEVER happened to me. So he cleans it up off the iv stunt. They left me and other patients in pain for hrs. It took 3 hrs to get a pain med, and that was after i had to holler at them for help while in tears, and this is after the lady across from me told a nurse goin by that someone should check on me. And they never did. They walked by and ignored the fact i was crying my eyes out cuz of the pain. They refused for my husband to come back with me, but other patients had family back with them. They did a bladder scan without privacy. They gave me dilada and then a percocet to go home with and had me walk out and leave on my own with no help. These people were very unprofessional and uncompassionate.
Goodness gracious, some of you complaining in the reviews have never been to an Indian clinic/hospital and it shows... haha! But really, these folks were great! My nephew landed himself in the emergency room last night due to a dog bite. Every single person that made contact with him took great care of him. While he waited to be treated, he and I witnessed a staff that was attentive, hard working and friendly. My nephew's doctor Crawford, I believe addressed his issue with wonderful care, cleanliness & bedside manner. While no one ever really "wants" to go to the E.R., these guys did a wonderful job at providing the care that my nephew was in need of.
The worst ER visit ever. Either they’re severely understaffed or they simply do not care. I’ve been waiting for almost 4 hours to get a ct scan, blood work and urinalysis. They left me holding my urinalysis bag for over an hour, so I set it down on the table next to me. They didn’t even remove the bag from the table when drawing my blood, and the nurse doing it was messy when taking the blood work, getting blood all over my arm.. they ask personal health questions without being in private, and a lady even vomited in the general waiting area and instead of giving her a private room, they put her in the waiting area with other patients being seen, which are only separated by thin cloths while she continues to dry heave and moan in pain. Don’t come here if you have a genuine EMERGENCY.
Called and hung up after the phone rang for 5 minutes, which may not seem like a long time but a large hospital should be able to answer a phone quicker than that. When I got to the hospital and asked a receptionist to double-check where a family member was, she said it would be easier for me to go and look for the room I thought it was than for her to check the system. I stood there in dismay. Then the receptionist finally asked my last name and spent 15 seconds to find where the family member was.
Do not come here ! This place is a complete nightmare, this is the worst hospital I've been in my entire life. I was transferred by my doctor to have an emergency surgery done and let me tell you I waited 6 long hours with agonizing pain to just be sat in another room to suffer 2 more hours. Had to beg and scream for pain medicine, there's no communication in this place, had like 3 nurses coming and asking the same questions over and over. Heard a nurse yelling at 2 patients, saw people leaving the emergency room. Saw an old man who said he was just gonna go home and die because he wasn't even on the waiting list and nobody seemed to care or find out what had happened. The staff were just there joking around each other while all these things were happening. 2 days after my surgery i called for a a refill for my painkillers and it was just a lady with a bad attitude who gave me another number to call, then I had to call twice to remind them that I need a refill then they said I need to call another number with an automatic machine and left a voice mail and no response yet. They simply don't care about your health in this place.
Horrible, now some nurses and some doctors I give applaud but this one for my grandmas stay was horrible ...horrible my grandma stay here for four days and they did not clean or change her sheets they would not clean in the room when she would ask and she would use the nurse call button and no one would come and check on her. The nurse name was Alexis she looked young like a student about 5'2 Brownish blonde hair brown eyes. Worked on the Fourth floor. Alexis was not a good nurse some people people are. Born with the skills and being a nurse but this one was horrible very rude and stuck up telling me I couldn't even bring my daughter in to see her grandma that no kids are allowed in the hospital. My grandma would ask for different sheets help to the bathroom for them to clean her and they would not even come. The only nurse that we did get some help something was a guy nurse his name was Christopher worked on same floor but he was not our nurse we requested him do not get Alexis on the Fourth floor she is horrible nurse she was very neglected to my grandma
This is the worst ER I’ve ever been too. With all the improvements they’ve done to the hospital you’d think the ER would be better. They have people waiting in what’s like a make shift waiting room and then when you’re pulled back your waiting in thrown up rooms with fold up curtains separating you from others. We only came here because my husband has cancer and his dr is at Stephenson so thought it would be better so it’s in his files but if we ever have to go to the ER again we’ll be going to St Anthony in MWC. So someone came back to start an IV it was a blood bath. I’ve never seen so much blood it went down his arm all on the chair and floor. This person dropped guise on the floor on the blood then he picked it up and was about to us it on my husbands IV. I stopped him and told him to get a new one he said he landed on the other side I said I didn’t care it was on the floor get a new one. Someone needs to inspect this place for patient privacy issues and how to properly do things so people don’t get sicker. Im going to be looking into who I need to complain to about this mess of an ER.
Waited 4 hours to get pain relief. I'm a nurse myself. This is the most disgusting place I've been in my life. Lazy nurses joking and laughing and flat telling lies to my face....had to call the supervisor......this has got to be illegal. Shut it down!!
This is hands down the worst hospital in the state. It’s terribly sad because cancer patients for Stephanie’s center kind of have to go here so their oncology doctors can have access to them. Staff is TERRIBLE, lazy and rude! Hospital it’s self is run down, nasty looking and the rooms are always dirty! I feel sorry for anyone having to be treated here. It’s a nightmare!
Walked in and I’m disabled with personal made mask letting people know that I’m deaf. You’re security guards are atrocious. Made me take my mask off and put a different mask on. Not a single other hospital, dr office, store, etc., has EVER discriminated against me. I only had to pick someone up that you threw out at like 4am in morning. God forbid I ever need any medical assistance and end up here. Please do not go here unless it’s an absolute emergency and it’s the only place around.
