Having to ship anything is literally my least favorite chore of all time, but the team at this UPS location makes it so easy and quick. They are all really friendly too!
I paid $78 dollars for an expresso machine to be shipped. The team did an abysmal job packing and merely put about a dozen air-filled bags around the machine, all of which popped. The machine was damage so badly in transit and the repair cost exceeds the value of the machine. I am so incredibly disappointed at the incompetence of the two team members who packed this box. You have no business charging people $78 dollars to pack a box when your work is as negligent as it was.
Paid for fax service. Guy ..bald guy with beard and glasses, blabbed my business name and idea all over town. Within 1 hour 8 people tried to register my business with the Secretary of State. Knew it was disrespectful. Thought he could get away with it. Happens all the time. Fax your own stuff.
The 2 people who were working this morning and helped me pack and ship the item that I was sending were so helpful and friendly! The item I was shipping was a very odd shape and they were great at getting it all packed up for me. Thanks for all the additional help!!
We have had a great experience as a box holder They always recognize us and rush to beat us to our box!, and we regularly utilize their copy machines. If there's ever a problem with the machines, they're quick to fix things, AND, if needed, they'll assist in switching the customer over to another machine. Now, we see them even more frequently with "Amazon Dropoff" for returns. Everyone's very friendly, and we appreciate their positive, helpful attitudes!
Get your estimate for custom boxes, packing and shipping in writing. Without that, your shipping cost is liable to go up like ours did. $30.00 up for the boxing and packing, and $10.00 up for the shipping with no explanation for the difference. A $40.00 increase might not seem like a lot to some, but to an artist, it is a lot. Believe me. And although The UPS Store will honor the declared value if they pack and box your artwork, from what I observed and we discussed, they tend not to pack as well as you can do yourself with a little time, effort, common sense, and boxes made of double 275 gsm cardboard. Plus bubble pack, styrofoam corners and styrofoam peanuts. All available at Home Depot for much, much less than you pay at The UPS Store for their packing services and materials. I would not have minded the price gouging so much if they had not acted like it was an inconvenience to them for us to be shipping our artwork with UPS. We were told by the person making our box that he might not be able to make it before the end of the day by the shipping deadline so that it would ship with our other packages that we had packed ourselves, and there was still 4 hours lead time to the shipping deadline. Fortunately one of the employees said she would do her best to make sure that everything went out together and on that day, which she did and it did. Had it not been for her intervention, I would have given a one star review.
The service was fantastic and the staff is so friendly. I left my laptop but I believe I will get it back by tomorrow. Thank you!

A package went missing after being left with them. It was in hindsight my fault for not getting the tracking information, but an expensive unnecessary lesson nonetheless.
