Unfortunately I can not give a negative star and post this review. I am required to give at least one star to post this waste of my time. I was the only person in line. I stated I needed to ship something. I was asked if I was paying for shipping and I replied that it was already pre-paid. I then asked for one piece of tape to secure the top. I was informed that I would need to pay 1 dollar for one piece of tape. I confirmed what I thought that I heard and yes one dollar for one piece of tape. I understand inflation is hitting everyone but this is just wrong. I explained that not only would I spend my own valuable time with a negative comment here but, that I would be in fact driving back to my hotel because they obviously know something about customer service. Terrible customer service and likely management!!! :
I just moved here and I have been dealing with another UPS store in TN. As in TN, the folks in this store are friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my experience as a newcomer. I've only been in this store twice but the service has been consistently kind and professional. I will continue to come in to this store for my personal and business needs. Thank you for great service!
Great customer service. They do their best to provide the most efficient service possible. They are very accommodating and deliver my plans on time or even sooner when I need them . My mobile office.. Bluff Electric
Say they notarize documents. They open at 8. Came in employee said she'll be in 9ish? Came back at 940. Still not here. I want thier hours
Went in to ship something small and they tried to charge me $34 dollars for one item to be shipped in the US. I told them that I wanted to ship the item as cheaply as possible and they didn't even offer the flat rate option to me. When I acted shocked because it was so expensive the lady looked annoyed, and even more annoyed when gathered all my stuff and left. I was trying to mail 5 small orders and they tried to charge me $34 a piece for shipping then extra for the boxes. That's $170 alone for shipping without the cost of the box's for all of them! I went to the post office and shipped everything for $47.25 and the boxes were free. UPS do better.
Our experience was easy and quick. We used the notary services here for $5. We also was given a complimentary leaf of paper. The notary lady was extremely friendly. The establishment is set up well and clean. I will give return business. Thank you.
Was told they ship all approved ups packages, showed up to ship some ammo to my cousin and was told they wont ship ammo for me. I asked why and the girl at the counter says in a very serious voice, maybe because it goes boom . I told her that the ups webpage stated ammo shipped ground was fine, she then gave me the number to the ups hub and said that they could ship it then. P.S. At no point was a reason other than a sarcastic comment, maybe because it goes boom given. The owners reply to this comment is a lie and reinforces my reasons for the bad review.
I use this Store a lot for Amazon returns. After reading the responses to the reviews, I will now request that all my Amazon Returns are at home pick-ups. The management responses are totally over the top.
The employees and management at this location are inept incompetent un -cooperative. Not only do they not follow UPS policies. They don't follow UPS store policies. But as the owner Mr Jeff Long will happily tell you himself, he is the private owner of a franchise so he doesn't have to. So my advice to residents of Poplar Bluff is do your UPS shipping at the UPS hub or just use FedEx or someone else.
Very rude manager called Jeff. His coworker is of the same style. Money is their language but their service is horrible. They could not provide me with explanations on why my international package was not delivered. They ask for nearly 140$ to get it back to me. In other words, I would pay for 200+ $ for my shipment to cruise through Europe for 6 weeks and get back to me not having been delivered. The manager clearly lacks common sense and seems to only care for the green note. No customer service manners or potential. A couple of professional friends reported similar experience. UPS should reconsider their affiliation with this private store. I have experienced opposite behavior with FedEx or with “real” UPS store.
