Not sure if this asian customer service is owner operator or what but he is out of his mind. As you can see everyone complains how rude is he. He also told me he is not going to pack my item even Amazon says, Ups will pack and label it for you.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the UPS Store in my area, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Despite the evident busyness of the store, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met promptly and professionally. The employees at this UPS Store are incredibly knowledgeable, and it’s evident that they take their job seriously. They worked with remarkable efficiency, getting my packages handled and processed in no time. This level of speed and competence is a testament to their dedication to providing top-notch service. What truly stood out to me was the staff’s willingness to go the extra mile. They not only met my expectations but exceeded them by ensuring my packages were handled properly and securely. And I thought customer service couldn't get worse. Not only is the manager lazy but his management follows down to his coworkers. When you walk in its like entering a 1960 downtown Los Angeles building little offices where accountants store all their files. Never seen a UPS store this hoarded looking. You can barely walk in. Why so many packages makes no sense. Someone really need to look into this. Aside from that they don't even wanna help you. I don't even wanna get into details. Don't go here.
As many other reviewers have stated, the owner is rude and unhelpful. After reading a couple bad reviews of this place I decided not to take any chances on putting my two Amazon returns in one box, lest they charge me for an extra box. I kept the boxes open in case they needed to inspect them. When I brought it in, they told me I “need to package” them. Confused, I asked what she meant. Two boxes, both with plenty of padding. They wanted to charge me for TAPE. $2 for a strip of tape on the top of the box. I turned around and left on principle. I’ll be reporting them to UPS corporate as well. Avoid this place like the plague.
Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service from this UPS store #5051 Monterey Park. If I'm able to give 0 or negative, I will. Extremely rude and tried to charge everything, even just a little tapes. Also, they always had excuses to refuse my drop-off packages. Honestly, I doubt this store is an official UPS store. Never will visit this store anymore. I strongly suggest everyone do NOT do any business with this store. Find any other one is definitely much better than this one. CAUTION: check the reviews before you go. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!
This plaace has more bad reviews because of the nature to want to leave bad reviews. Place is decent. Definitely not a bad experience. Staff was friendly, quiet, and straight to the point. No complaints here for Amazon drop off with no label
I used to return all my Amazon no-lable returns in this UPS store. Last week, the Asian Owner with grey hair and eye glasses told me very rudely that I have to pay for the tape tried to charge me $3 which I never heard before charged fees for taped the package. I tried to explained and he cut off and told me he’s not going to take any package from me. I was shocked, offended and feel discriminated. If he doesn’t like the Amazon drop off why not just signed off at the front of the store, then I will never waste my time to stop in this place. There are other UPS stores in the neighborhood, the service is way much better than this place. I hope everyone knows this place doesn’t welcomed the Amazon shoppers returns please go other places Do not waste your gasoline and ruin your day with such a bad customer service. If there is a option for 0 stars i will give 0 stars to this place.
I had an unfortunate experience at this establishment where I encountered a staff member who displayed condescending behavior. Regrettably, my attempt to return an item purchased from Amazon was met with pushiness and a lack of professionalism. While I understand that customer service roles can be challenging, I felt devalued and disrespected during this interaction. It is disheartening to observe such an unfavorable atmosphere within the premises. Considering the apparent disorganization within the store, it raises concerns about the potential for misplaced items. Consequently, I would advise potential customers to seek alternative options and avoid patronizing this establishment if possible.
Poor service attitude, arbitrary charges. Do not delete the return scan code, forcing guests to return only in their store. It's also very badly managed, and I'll never come back.
They were selling me some tape for $10 younger guy then he said $6. Then he said I could use my own tape for $5. I’m shaking my head at this point the older man jumped in and said we will charge you $2. Is this a joke! at this point I agreed to the $2. I paid for the $2 and he put the money in his tip jar! I asked him to tape the box. He taped it with the UPS label!!! Not even tape!!! I told him you just charged me for tape! The older man jumped in grabbed the tape and put tape over the box and threw my box to the side! What a joke!!!!!!! Avoid this location!!!!
