I don’t feel like people often write positive reviews of individual UPS stores, but I feel that the wonderful people of the store here in yucca valley deserve any praise I can give them. I shipped a next day envelope with the wrong address, necessitating a change once the shipment was already underway. Lori, and the team from UPS yucca valley must have spend an hour, minimum, playing detective to figure out where the package was delivered. The recipient was able to get the package, but only because of the excellent work by the entire store. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I will only be rating 3 stars because of what transpired today. I usually have the most pleasant experience with the crew here in Yucca Valley, I’m actually happy to go in and know that I’ll be treated well. Today that was not the case. I have never had an issue with any employee. But the Notary that was helping the front desk whose name starts with J was very unpleasant. She comes across very condescending, and as if you are an extreme inconvenience to her. I also watched her with multiple other customers and she acted the very same.
Extremely unresponsive customer service. Just about the only way you will get any support from this location is physically walking into their store and trying to get them to figure out what they did wrong. Would highly recommend using any other shipment options available to you. The staff is generally unprofessional at this location. I really can't over exaggerate how inadequate and awful their customer service is. Their call system will reroute you until it refers you to a website and promptly hangs up on you. Their store also has no contact phone number. Even their corporate couldn't explain to me how or why a location is operating with no phone number. Since they don't have something as simple as a phone. Any need for service is basically funneled to their national line. Eventually you'll get some vague response about how they feel so bad about the screw up and you can go ahead and email someone a few weeks after they've already lost your package. Utterly unresponsive management. Do not use this business.
I'll give them a couple stars for being good humans and friendly under pressure. Won't go into gory details about my experience, but poor packaging, MIA for a bit, 10 days late, a lot of legwork on my end, and not even a partial refund on $240. Great people, they do their best, super friendly, just wasn't a great experience overall.
Jhnell was very impatient and had an attitude the whole transaction from the moment we walked up to the desk. When we gave her our delicate items and she slammed it on the counter. Highly unprofessional behavior and very poor customer service.
Worst customer service anyone can experience. They charged $210 to pack and ship an item I shipped to my home. It arrived utterly damaged and looked like they used the box as a soccer ball. My item was ruined. I've tried to get reimbursed for a YEAR AND A HALF and they keep ignoring or promising empty promises. Would give zero stars obviously if I could.
Marie is amazing. She really helped me with a difficult return. I was frustrated with myself but she was calm, accommodating and direct. The drive to UPS alone is 30 mins and I am so happy that I was able to receive such a high level of efficient customer service.
I had a package that arrived Saturday. Tracking number said it was there in the morning but I went a couple hours later since I know it takes them a while to put them away but the old lady wouldnt even try finding it for me. Then I came back Sunday and she even refused to look for it again saying that they still never put any packages away yet even tho it was from Saturday, and she refused to give me the managers or owners number. Again nothing on Monday. I was lucky Amazon gave me the full refund for an expensive order. Update 23JUN29: Thanks to Jackie for getting back to me and setting my package aside. But again it shouldn't take this long 5 days to tell me that my package has been found.
Michael and Danial were a really Great Help. Brought in something to be printed on the store's extra large format printer, and it was very late in the day. They both were very courteous and did everything to accommodate me, got the job done! A huge Thank You, Peter
The store does not answer their phone. A package was shipped from this location and conveniently, the tracking information that was provided is not correct. Clearly, the manager should be working to provide training to team members. The package shows according to United Parcel Service it has never been picked up from this location. It’s very frustrating and it’s extremely unprofessional that this location does not answer their phone. They don’t seem to know where the package is but they had no problem taking money to ship it. The manager was to get back to us today with location of the package, unfortunately the manager is not working today. It’s Friday afternoon and the package should have been delivered Thursday. Rest assured my experience will be shared on all social media. Beyond poor customer service. Update - Today is April 7th, still no follow from the store as to location of the package. Per UPS the package has never been picked up as they have a chain of custody in place. Once UPS scans the package they are in custody. No response from the Manager.
