The University of Vermont has successfully launched the Champlain Valley Family Medicine Residency Program, a community-based program at the UVM Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. This program has acheived ACGME accreditation effective July 1, 2015.
Our new Family Medicine Residency Program will train family physicians in a non-competitive setting to excel in the leadership of high-quality and high value, patient-centered care for people of all ages in their communities. Residents will benefit from a dedicated faculty and the opportunity to mentor medical students from the University of Vermont at a thriving community hospital in Plattsburgh, NY.
