Amazing food! Sliders were too good! One of the best sticky toffee puddings I’ve ever had! Must try!

Top notch! I enjoyed the Velvet Sparrow burger with fries, a delicious burger bursting with flavour, crisp fries with a lovely sauce on the side, everything just tasted like it had been made with care. I will definitely be ordering from this gem of a restaurant again! EDIT: I ended up ordering the nachos and macaroni at a later date, the nachos were fantastic, best I've had in a while, the macaroni was also quite nice too!

I love the Velvet Sparrow, we're regular visitors. It's beautifully decorated with a lovely welcoming feel. New menu is delicious as are the wines pinot noir a personal fav and the staff can't do enough for you. Get along for a visit if you haven't been down already.

Absolutely blown away by this hidden Gem in the southside. Amazing family run business, Excellent Food, great vibe, Superb Drinks and Service was so Attentive. Please all support your local businesses.

We needed somewhere to eat before the Coldplay concert at Hampden Park and stumbled upon the Velvet Sparrow. We didn't book but they managed to fit us in. Delicious food and really good value for money. We even got a discount by showing our concert tickets! Thoroughly recommended.

I've eaten here just after it opened and wasn't overly impressed by the disjointed menu and the small size of plates. I went in recently for a drink and it all looks to have changed; staff were new and were serious about their jobs, drink offering had improved, menu looked a lot more resolved and the atmosphere just felt better. Will head back for food when I'm next in that part of town.

I cannot recommend the Velvet Sparrow enough - a fabulous hidden gem of the Southside with a great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. Sean, Niamh, and Sophie went out of their way to make sure our visit was special, and the food was delicious. 10/10 service, 10/10 food, and a 10/10 establishment - top marks.
