The Village Bar

The food was great. We got one of their burgers and I added bacon. It tasted just like a burger place I used to enjoy in college! I tried the waffle fries and they weren't my favorite so I'll try their regular fries next time. Definitely will be back againFood: 4/5

This place claims to have the “world’s best cheeseburger“… while honestly I did not find it to be the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had, it was not a bad cheeseburger. The waffle fries were very delicious, The margaritas for satisfying, and the service was helpful and friendly. I think I would go again, definitely want to try those wings sometime! But bottom line is they don’t live up to their claim of “best cheeseburger”.

VB use to be a great spot with an incredible burger, a small dark smokey joint with personality. Now, you get get bag frozen fries, no flavor. Onion Rings were undercooked absolutely no flavor and the burger was a frozen box patty also with no flavor. Staff said food is good, it's not. Don't lie to us. I don't blame them tho. I blame society for accepting this. St. Louis lost a good restaurant. RIP Village Bar. I promise this is the worst burger fries and union rings you can get.

I had the best burger with a side of fries, the burger was good but the burger was too greasy with the bun getting a bit soggy. It was still a good burger. The fries were fine but had much too little to no salt

We had a friend recommended Village Bar since we were going to be in the area after going to see our 1st grand daughter at MOBAP. We had a great experience, our Server was very friendly and the food was outstanding. Definitely would recommend a visit

First time in...fun rustic ambience as the setting for a really good burger and fries! My StL favorite burger is at Mac"s and, to me, that's no contest. Village Bar may lead the pack of chasers, though. This is a very good thing for us in the area that want a very good burger and don't want to drive to Hampton. Highly recommend... The place may not look inviting at first but it's got charm.

Completely packed on a Thursday. Seems to be a very popular happy hour location, although I don’t think they have happy hour specials. This place is LOUD. So loud, you have to yell into the waitress’s ear three times to place your order. The food is decent… nothing special.

Very loud, have to yell to hear the others at your table. Basic appetizers. Plenty of TVs for sports tho! And I hear their burgers are top notch. May change to 5star if that's true.
