Visit this area often and enjoy walking, eating, shopping, and let’s not forget every day at 5 pm dancing in the square. People are usually friendly and they all have stories to tell.
Spanish Springs Town Square in The Villages is a lovely area. There are many shops, restaurants, and a nice park-like area where one may sit and relax.
What a beautiful place just to walk around, shop, or grab a bite! Clean, inviting and friendly as you could want with live music every night..
The oldest of three squares and it seems like the powers to be don't really have a plan to rehab it. They started to do things them stopped with Katie Belles and the movie theater. Best part of the square is the 3td Saturday car show. I photograph Uncle Bob's Rock Shop and this is the worst of the three squares to shoot the band in. The Gazebo stage is a poor design way too small, too high and really poor sight angles even if your just watching a band. I've pretty much stopped shooting their shows here. They did some work on the actual square awhile back and they should have revamped/enlarged the stage.
Food and service was actually very good. Waiter was very courteous, and attentive. However, I'm upset because the Loyalty program has been changed yet again. In the meantime, among others I had numerous $10 rewards, that were wiped out on 7/05/23. Manager gave me a $10 credit this evening, but the administrative Adjustments were not fair.
Spanish Springs Town Square is at the northern end of The Villages. It is Spanish themed and has restaurants and shops and an entertainment area in the middle of the square. There is also a statue of the man who founded The Villages. It is a very nice place to visit. If you are in The Villages I highly recommend visiting there!
Had dinner local and went to check out the square. They were setting up form music, and that was sounding good. We were deciding on what to do but then the cloys started rolling in and we actually live almost an hour away so we cut out early. But we'll be back
This is one of my favorite village squares. It is just fun and lively. They have great restaurants, great live music often have car shows and other events. Follow us for more great reviews ™
I’ve never seen so many golf carts. However, it seems like a great place to enjoy your retirement lots of activities to do lots of music at the restaurants. An entire generation of like-minded people all partying every day.
Very cool area; great architecture to see, shopping, live music, and restaurants! Spanish Springs is the oldest part of The Villages; quite a unique experience!
